Took the wife on a local short route that involved an ice cream parlour half way round – eveyones happy. Now off out to a local seafood restaurant with the whole family.

forgot to say – check out SLAM for their trainer range. Expensive and small fitting though.

only problem with the trainer type is they can start to smell if they get wet. I got some Sperry grid trainers when in the states and they work pretty well on most decks and have loads of drainage to get the water out quick.

My Dubary Ultima boots have lasted years but at £170 you would expect them too!

I seem to remember it being very wobbly but not having any suspension. I had a flexi-stem so it was round that era. It looked a bit like the klein above but black shiny plastic with jade graphics.

    Anyway its not important.

a friend of mine back in 94 ish i think had a rigid frame but was made of some kind of flex material – like plastic or something. It was really springy when pumping the pedals – anyone got any ideas what it was?

I thought it was proflex or something like that. I can remember that it wasnt alu, steel etc and it was black plastic but not carbon.

yep – im after a thule indoor 592 where you use a QR to lock forks to boot floor.

The back seats cant come out though – you lift the horizontal seat up vertical and then slide the lot right forward to touch the back of the front seats.

If you want to keep other rear seats i would need to fold the vertical back rest flat onto the horizintal seat bit – the back wheels would sit up on here and vauxhall sell a rack which allows this.

I will take some pics tomorrow night as i probably make no sense.

Jimbo, my zafira B can easily take two bikes and a dog cage with all the back seats folded away – never tried 3/4 bikes and maintaining 4 seats as yet.

The front is comfy – I have a SRI 1.9cdti and with 180bhp (tuning box) at 50mpg+ running on 18’s and a sports mode makes for quite nice road trips.

I was thinking the same, sunsetmtb have an offer of £1075 for an 08 frame.

What do the 2nd hand ones go for? Will a 5 work with a 130mm fork or will it need more?

I imagine the club itself probably do still consider themselves as a big club, with one of the largest stadiums and capacities in the league and one of the largest wage bills.

However in recent league perfomances I dont consider ourselves to be “big”. if i was asked during 02-03 era when we were in Champions League and doing well I would have said yes a “big” club. Now we arent however. How we have fallen! 🙁

as a season ticket holder, i doubt it is a april fools – across too much of the media now for that.

However, can he really do too much wrong – we were destined to relegation with the Hughton/Calderwood jokers in charge he is the only person who could come in and have any sort of positive impact. The fans firmly believe that we will get relegated, can Shearer do much worse – if we go down it wasnt his fault – a season isnt made in the last 8 games. If he keeps us up he is even more of a hero than he has ever been. The guy is idolised up here – he can do no wrong, the reception at the Chelsea game will be massive, bigger than keegans last appointment.

Welcome to the world of the NUFC rollercoaster, sit back, strap in and enjoy.

My mate had 3 go, spoke to someone in renault garage parts dept who reckoned he had 3 go and could now fit in half hour. I had the Megane with same engine and mine went at about 65/70k, got turbo for about 400 and fitting at 400 at backstreet place i know.

Its a garret turbo and they are renowned for it. Make sure the intercooler is emptied and cleaned otherwise it will blow again. Shocking cars, will never ever buy another Renault.

What rules do the Swiss have for proving who was driving. Just say you have no way of knowing who was behind the wheel at that time, they may not have a rule that auto penalises the name on the hire agreement. You might get lucky.

When we are on the PA subject I was looking at the geometry and compared it against a boardman comp 09, mine is an 08 with the recon uturns. It turns out they have the same geometry as a PA. Would I benefit anything from swapping over to a PA – extra weight of the steel but more flex maybe?

I fancy a new frame either a chameleon or handjob or PA (cheapest option) – but not sure i will get anything more than what i get out of my current frame – maybe just extra strength when boming red/blacks at trail centres?

    Opinions?

Anywhere north of Amble and south of Berwick is nice – newton by the sea, beadnell, bamburgh, Alnmouth, Boulmer village(Quiet).

Seahouses is a bit chip shop and rock so maybe avoid that but it is still ok.

I was there last week and spotted a holiday company called grace darling holidays on the high street who had really nice cottages on the books.

    also

However – i have no affiliation with any of these companies what so ever.

Come up here spend your money in our pubs and shops. This area relies on tourism nowadays, I’ve lived here all my life and dont mind tourists invading – my family have a business that needs tourists as the main residents dont support us and do their shopping in the ususal Tesco/Asda.

Just had a look at their 4 sets for 25 quid offer – a quick numpty question.

Does 1 set do the whole bike – i.e. front and back or does a set just do either front or back?

Ive never managed a full one yet – either set off too late, breakages or someone having a hangover and slowing us down. Its never my fault like!
