Newcastle – links for flooring/wood/seats. Any tips on diy installs – gas – electrics.

Just anything you may have picked up whilst doing yours.

spkye – think i would just rear mount any bikes so i can keep a swb for everyday use – need to park it at a train station a few days a week.

If you have any handy links can you email them to me – in profile? ta.

Just trying to weigh up the pros and cons of swapping my Zafira sri – which has plenty of power and can sit loads when required (but rarely). Bike goes inside upright.

We are planning a family so not sure if we will be camping for long with baby on way.

Also need somehwere for a dog cage.

Maybe a self design/install might be better.

Thought there would have been more response to this – considering the numbers at the race

As far as im aware though a Twix is the only chocolate bar with a solid biscuit base through its entire length – others only have biscuit pieces or areas of crunch or alternative texture.

Now – compare this with a 'rocky' say for example – I think most would comment that this is a biscuit – they both have very similar attributes – but one is clearly marketed as a biscuit and the other a chocolate bar.

    Discuss….

hard to beat a rich tea IMO….

But Custard Creams – good call

How about a Pink Wafer for variety?

Rather partial to a Twix – now is this a biscuit or a chocolate bar?

I work with a guy who refuses to have his first name entered into the Outlook Global address book of a massive British company because they wont change the description to "christian name" from first name. So he is in as none.

He is a proper weirdo though.

tragically – yes it looked like that one but you could filter on departure or arrival airports. Unless they have changed it since to that one. The mapping looks identical however.

Seritide 1 puff * twice daily has kept me at bay for the last five or so years. As soon as I stop using it for a few days I'm back on the blue. I get effected by strong smells, nail varnish or anything like that. Does anyone else using seritide have problems with weight gain? I'm on a heavy weight loss plan at the moment but can't seem to shift body fat.

For **** sake this has gone a bit off topic. If she wants to have a cuppa in the hotel too
what's wrong with that? My original question was more related to customs and safety not the bloody right and wrong of taking your prefered tipple to another country. Yes she has the Yorkshire tea packed to actually becasuse that is what she wants to do.

Also she has 68 children to look after so she wanted advice incase any of them tried to take anything in their bags.

Some proper knobs on here at the moment

Lunch – wholemeal bread sandwhich (ham, cheddar cheese or chicken),
    Exercise between 5 and 7
Evening meal – mostly decent – no ready meals ever – quite large portions though but im normally hungry.
Not big on puddings or biscuits to be fair

Partial to the odd pastie but cut them out since October – possibly reduce garlic bread intake.

    Morning exercise –
    nothing before run or gym,
Maybe some beans on toast at 10/11 ish – wholemeal bread again
banana at 3 and meal at night at 6.

    Weekends – none riding

late breakfast english muffin and scrambled eggs
    maybe a bit of cake
Decent posh meal at night – fillet steak oven chips, red wine

    Riding day
    Porridge,
    garage sarnie
    Flapjack
    Sunday roast

Lonesome pine is a bit rubbish IMO, no decent descent, no berms to carry speed so it was getting badly cut up with braking bumps. That was last year though they may have improved it since then I don't know. I never really bother going to Kielder even though it's only about 40 miles from my house. The drive there is awkward and I can be at glentress just as quick. Deadwater is ok the top radio bit is a waste of time though.

    Tomahawk

Sounds ace – Im gutted i didnt get a wheel paint upgrade although it means I get to get some new rims for xmas.

Are you aware of the talks regarding a new five for 2011 – with iscg tabs and larger seat tube – oh well there is always a frame upgrade on the cards for me in a few years I suppose.

    Why along the welds?

Either side of the weld on downtube just to make it look nice as it will crinkle and not lie flat on the weld.

Some people may cover that long weld – i dont know – i just didnt bother and its fairing ok after 3 months use so far.

Funny you posted this i've just spent this afternoon re applying Heli tape to my Five after doing a crap job first time.

I have the inside and underside of the driveside swingarm wrapping round to non wheelside for a cm or so. Two patches for my heels on the swing arm outer side. Fives look dont suit swingarm protectors IMO.

Under the downtube – 2 thin strips down either side of the weld.

One patch either side on the side of the downtube where the cables rub near headtube.

Round your corners off too – helps minimise it lifting.

I run Advantage 2.25 front and rear – i'm a heavy and clumsy rider and have had problems in the past with pinch flats on every other tyre I have tries but none so far with these.

They are rubbish in snow though.

    Id buy them again.

Spoke to Hope – they say there is a sticker in the pro 2 boxes that says dont use this type of cassette.

Shop are going to take a look at it and advise either later today or tomorrow.

So if Hope say they should only ones with aluminum carriers and Orange supply otherwise then maybe I have a chance at getting Orange to swap one that is fit for purpose.

I dont really want to spend another £45 on an xt cassette because it hasn't been specced properly.

So dealer complaint or direct to Orange?

    carbon337

So lets get this right – i should sort this out and separate the cassette and hub so i can press the seal back in between the 2 hub bits.

I tried hammering it out like jordie suggested but no use. This is a sram pg950 should each ring separate or just the bottom 2?

Any Suggestions for a spider jobby? SRAM PG?? or XT
