I've got a zaf Sri 150 cdti chipped to 180 and it's champion. Suits me, this pm I'm off with bike in back then tomorrow will put lintran box in and get 2 springer in and 5 folk, last week had 7 people in for trip to a restaurant. Loads of space for holidays camping in north Scotland and drives better than a van. I wanted to swap it fo a transporter but to me it's more versatile than a van at this moment.

fairly similar – nice flowy sections not many drops that i can remember. She will easily manage the Lowensome pine trail which is crap – nice way to blow the 2m funding they got.

Cull the list of people to ones you actually like – i had to pay for relatives to come and have a free meal and drink and they don't even speak to me when i pass them in the street!

Cancel all plans – do off to a beach and get married there just with a few friends and close family.

I was thinking that there arent many 20-30 yr olds in the sport – more teenagers and then after that guys in there 30's plus.

Just look at Glentress carpark – bmw, audi, merc, – I suppose these are the ones with most time and disposable income.

Im hanging on to my 20's for a few more months.

What will happen to Mandelson? I presume his Lordship is for life so will still be kicking about at the top of the Labour party?

I got a 6*4 shed from B&Q for about £100 all bikes chained together and also through a few buckets of concrete with a d-ring set in them.

Eldeidge, actually your not wrong with that : generally the butt of all jokes – always see idle, rich, smug, white, middle class in those nautical sheds

Fancy a sail on my yacht?

it's actually a lot more accesible than most people think, sth coast is a different world from most other sailing venues around UK with snobs a plenty but our scene is very working class based with most owners starting businesses off from scratch, owners working up boats over the years.

Yachties get a bad press but @10k it cheaper than most caravans and how many of those do you see on most council estate drives?

Oh and at '76 get a survey and watch out for stuff like osmosis – most boats will need some treatment – ours was done about 10 years ago by a professional yard with latest epoxy technology.

It will also become a giant money pit – even more so than bikes.

Sadler 25 is canny little boat – 26 has nasty lines though – dont get a centaur if you want to get anywhere near the wind. Te are generally the butt of all jokes – always see old men with them in the marina – however there is statistic that suggests they were once the highest produced boat of all time.

We have a Sadler 32 drop keel version (3'6" – 6'6") which has been the family boat for 30 years and still going strong and is ideal for the shallow ports on NE coast.

If your looking for short hander sailing consider a fractional rig with a furling genoa. Maybe a Benetau first 25 or something like that – this era boat normally would come with a small aft cabin which would be handy if your living on it for any time rather than sleeping in the main saloon.

Im using a 22-32-bash on my 2010 Five. With 11-32 cassette. Always been ok – only time I ran out of gears was on a big decent in the Cheviots this weekend and to be honest I didnt need to go much quicker so just didnt pedal.

Had the bike 3 months and hadnt used the 44 ring and it was scratched from rocks so off it came for a 32t fsa bash.

Yep its gona cost you shit loads. Ive just sold my Melges 24 to Sweden which we competed all around the UK with. Everything costs 4 times what you would expect.

Rope, blocks, sails, race fees, club fees and storage not to mention the bar bills at regattas.
