Yeah I’ve noticed that – think a baby bjorn active looks the business but at 6lbs she needs to wait a bit before we can use one, they say 8lbs to start.

I got a 94 micra for 270 with 6mth tax and 1yr mot. Went though 3 mot not needing nothing. Last mot needed 25 quid back box and a bit of welding. Vest xar we ever had till mrs drove it into a flood and the electrics died.

After closer inspection I found a Montane Dyno for 50 at Amazon. Will give it a go I can always return it. Also Montane are only 15miles from me so helping a local company 🙂

Normally wear a HH Lifa as a base layer but could do with finding a layer in between a SS and a base layer.

I got a White rubber bath seal. The type that sits at 90 deg against a bath and tiles. Cut down the middle long ways and put a strip on inside of the swingarm and along bottom of the arm.

Had Velcro but it kept coming off and the lizard skin/ innertubes look ugly on a White frame.

Don’t bother with anything for heel protection just got new 2011 swingarm graphics when they rub down.

No problem I imagine – if you want to gift a better treat get a Platinum Club ticket – bit more money but more civilized bar/lounge and padded seats with Armrest. Located in Milburn stand (where the main match cams are)

Other than that stay away from Level 7 as its in the clouds.

In Order you want to go for:
    Platinum Club
    1982 Bar
    Milburn Paddock
    East stand
    Gallowgate end – behind goals
Leazes (SJhall stand – but thats near the away fans)
    Level 7

Five built with 36 van forks or coil lyriks. Double and bash and some stans flow rims.

Ive used mine on DH tracks one day then on XC cheviot hill rides the next.

Could maybe do with a coil shock or a little more rear travel if doing DH more often.

TheArtistFormerlyKnownAsSTR – can I ask why your kids need all this?

Im due to be a dad for the first time in a few days and granted I have a lot to learn but I’m astounded why you need to give so generously to a child.

What is she getting at 11? I’ve heard there are canny deals on helicopters and veyrons at the moment.

EDIT – I have just read

‘ve spent a long time working away

and it now all makes sense. When I was a kid a few mates Dads were working away types and they were all the same too. Is there a subconscious guilt thing here? Away from the possessions situation do you have issues about being away from her for periods of time?

Rickos – yeah that sums up my understanding but still best to check and maybe get a photo of the damper to confirm if buying 2nd hand.

Lyrik coils are ace – I dont have sektor experience but I bet a 2010 2nd hand Lyrik will be considerably better than a new sektor. Also the Lyrik is a 35mm stantion not sure if the sektors will have same stiffness.

Just to add I think the MoCo were the cheaper basic versions

MiCo were the standard aftermarket forks.

I think its fairly easy to pick up different damper units. Check MTBR Suspension forum for loads of info on Lyriks.

Oh and ignore the spring weight information RS publish its miles off. Im 90kg using a std spring – RS reckon I should be on Xfirm.

Mission control is the best one with high and low comp plus floodgate. Some
Oem forks were motion control only. Mission cont (mico) DH is high and low but no floodgate.

I have a coil lyrik u turn 160 with a mico dh damper. You can modify a STD mico to remove floodgate and increase plushness.
