no… well not that I can remember recently anyway – is that the only positive against the weight and drag?

I’ve ridden one – dont get me wrong it was ok but I dont see the point.

He has some good banter with the crowd. It’s great that he doesn’t take it all too serious. Some classics too lovin it.

Saddle too high, bike wrong way round. Pedals not at 9/3 o’clock. Other than that very nice.

That moda is like a work of art. A shop near me has started selling them. Think I’ll take a closer look this week.

Well it’s always been a bit crap really to be fair.

Compared to b&q, wickes etc it’s always been a poor relation. Wickes rebranded themselves a few years ago and now have a great website and service. Focus website was appalling and the shops full of chavs buying bloody hamsters.

Carrera vanquish, carbon fork, tiagra shifters. £399 at the moment.

Think fit is the most important but then your limited to paying a bit more for less from LBS ala giant defy 4 or 500 on a specialized allez. One no carbon fork and both running 2300.

So I found anyway. Unless you get a great deal at a LBS.

No jokes please guys have some respect.

But on the same topic – apparently you can still communicate via eyes etc for a few mins after, but can you imagine having that done to you when your alive. It makes me feel sick even thinking about it.

I picked one up on here for 75 quid last week. Someone found it in a cash converters and got it for 50 – then sold it on to me for 25 quid profit within an hour.

Its a bit long but im getting a new stem (£5), ive had to change the cables (£10) and in inner tube from tesco for (£3) – think i need a new seatpost too so will look for a cheapy inline one on here.

Used it first time this morning and shaved about 5.5 mins off my commute over my old singlespeed. that was into a wind though so not really i good comparison.

Need to sort the gears out a bit better. I dont really mind it getting scratched etc on a train. The alternative was the BTWin Triban 3 i think at £299 but thats all 2300 kit and a carbon fork or my LBS had a Forme Rapid in for £385 or the Carrera TDF (350) which is what all the forums recommend.

Mine is Sora kit (scratched a bit) and Tiagra callipers – i thought for 75 quid I cant go wrong

I test rode a Forme Rapid at my LBS. Didnt buy it, it was quite nice though I think they are owned by one of the distributors but I’m not sure they are that great value for money compared to other stuff around – big S etc.

This was an ex demo 2010 model so was discounted down to make it reasnoable value.

Evans price match is great if your needing something say on a friday to go away for a weekend etc. Also it saves the hassle of the postman taking my package back to the depot 20 miles away when your working all week.

That 6×4 shed above is giving me ideas – ive 3 bikes in my 6×4 at the mo – the FS is vertical, the roady in for easy access and the mrs Halfords jobby is packed away in the corner never to be used.

Could do with getting them all vertical like that one above.

while grouse and pheasant are throughly free ranging (thats what makes shooting them fun for the people who like shooting them) they are bread quite intensively in protected enclosures. Go into any strip of woodland around my house and there are pens with fricking hundreds of them in there.

The countryside has been shaped, managed and developed for centuries to nurture and favour the existence of game birds, they have the upper hand over the preditors as the landscape has been shaped and planted to create food, shelter and especially – somewhere to hide from raptors. With that being the case raptors’ diets consists of all sorts of stuff thats easier to catch – even though we have swarms of pheasant here – there can sometimes be 40 or 50 standing outside my front window – I’ve only seen raptors take pidgeons and rabbits.

They’re reared in such large numbers that raptors could eat them all year til they are sick and still there would be more than enough for Finton and Josh to take pot shots at.

No matter how many bird the raptors might take – more will end up plastered across the front bumpers of cars. Should we legislate for landowners having a license to cull motorists?

    What he said ^

Never seen it PLUS never seen these either:

    Star Wars – any
    Star Trek
    The Alien’s
    Teminators
    The Matrix
    Any Indiana Jones’
mary poppins/Sound of music/bedknobs – the ones most kids have seen
    Docotor Who’s
    Any Harry Pottors

I was always out playing outside as a kid, climbing trees etc. My wife thinks I’m a weirdo.

Instead of allowing it then why not making them protected and prosecute illegal killing. FFS once they are gone they are gone. Not like grouse or a sheep which can be replaced.

Terrible news, really sad. My thoughts are with his family.

The only consolation is that he died doing something he was meant to be doing, to become a pro in his field took talent, dedication and a natural gift of athleticism.

I have some old friends who insist on dressing up for all birthdays etc. Including events like a fireworks ball on the beach on Nov where they dress in ball gowns etc and drink champagne.

Needless to say that’s why they are old friends, I refuse to join in with their toffy games.

Tf tuned website will probably list a damper service kit. You may have lost some oil into lowers from within tge right stantion. I’m not fully familiar with the tora to be honest though.
