Has anyone used their phone elsewhere to test the text input yet?

Sorry for my ignorance but putting this in laymans terms if im using an 18650 2800mAh battery on a XML-T6 then i should be getting about 852.2 lumes

A cheaper Ultrafire 300mAh battery listed on torchies site atabout 1000 mAh should be about 392.

Am i barking up wrong trea here – obviously i expect lossage aws discussed earlier.

Can other people do some testing – im starting to think its just STW that im having text input issues with. Not a massive amount of discussions online and i would imagine if it was all safari input to pages it would be all over the web.

Other sites dont get the delay – google search window for example, the one i listed above etc.

I dont use any other forums to test it.

Some Exchange profiles enable a really annoying 8 digit passcode lock on the phone, my employer allows us to add an exchange mailbox/calendar but this screen locks with 8 digit code is horrible to work with.

It changes every 30 days too then to top it off you cant reuse a code for ages.

If i was you I’d push those work appointments into a google account (Edit: using that link above ^) – then depending if you want wife to see your work ones or not either set up a specific shared one plus your own – or just use the shared one for all and in both instances have multiple devices access it.

If you use outlook at work – just use owa to set it up on your iphone – no app needed and certainly none of this google callander rubbish

How will this facilitate a shared calendar? or is that callander?

Theres also one in Newcastle called Recyce-a-bike or something like that.

Slightly laggy inputting text on this forum now, but that seems to be the only negative.

This is really irritating me though to the point i wont post using my phone.

Has anyone used it on other forums > Do you get same issues? Could it be this site?

Just tried using this site http://www.typeonline.co.uk/typingspeed.php and typing into the window is perfectly fine and there is no lag.

The 2x Iphones will suffice.

You can login to your calendar as a web page too – edit appointments and they will sync to your phones.

Have a look on you tube – someone has probably posted a video about it – there is for everything else iphone related.

Id say you could probably do it from less than 5′ if you were really unlucky.

You wont need an app – you can set the calendar so it only has the gmail/google calendar entries.

You both use same account and when you make a new appointment it will push that up into the “google cloud” (hate the term im sorry)

Get a gmail account, then get a google calendar account.
Then google “gmail exchange iphone” you will find the settings in the gmail pages. Configure it on both iPhones – even configure it on your outlook/ical applications.
In your mailbox settings it lists your mailboxes – select the exchange one and turn mail and contacts off and only select calendar – this will mean only the calendar from google will sync.

Google calendars maybe? Then use the mailbox settings and only pull in the calendar from the gmail option if you dont want the mails.

You can configure it as exchnage too so you get a better push service.

Its the most disgusting smell ever.

so.. recommendation for a decent battery and charger? i got a torch off ebay which is very impressive for light but the batteries are awful and i’m scared to use the charger!

Not sure on charger – my cheapo one looks a bit suspect to me – dont think i will leave it on its own charging.

Mate uses the 2.5 Minin DHf in this version. Its ace.

I use a 2.35 supertacky and its nowhere near as good as his 2.5 exo
