my current fave way of dealing with the “our records say you’ve had an accident in the last three years” cold call is…

    Me: Sorry I can’t remember.

CC: eh, what do you mean.

Me: I had an accident and ever since my memory is very bad.

CC: So you have had an accident?

Me: Did I? When was that?

CC: You just said you did.

ME: Oh yeah, sorry I forgot, I had an accident and my memory isn’t so good these days.

    CC: When was the accident?

Me: I can’t remember, in the last three years I think, what do your records say?

CC: I’m sorry I can’t say until your confirm your name and address for data protection…

    Long pause….

CC: I need your name and address to proceed.

Me: my mummy said I shouldn’t talk to strangers now, I had an accident in the last three years and now my memory isn’t very good and I’m not as cleverer as I was.

CC: thats okay your mummy said it was okay.

Me: do you know my mummy? she’s nice, she smells like flowers in the morning

CC: so can your confirm your name and address please.

Me: but don’t you already have it on your record? I don’t remember making a record did I do that before my accident i had in the last three years? Would you like me to sign it?

CC: I’m sorry can you just confirm them for me so I can confirm I’m talking to the right person.

Me: I’m sorry I had an accident in the last three years and I can’t remember them….. Oh hang on mummy wrote them down for me incase I get lost.

CC: great so can you read them to me.

Me: I’m sorry I had an accident in the last three years and I can’t remember how to read, if you tell me your address I can have my mummy send them to you, can we play my record now, I don’t remember making it, is it good, I had an accident in the last three years did I tell you?

    CC: **** Off……..

    @ The Great Ape.

Have a word with http://www.gapinsurance.co.uk (other providers are available) When I spoke to them they told me that I could take the policy out any time in the first year.

I deferred the policy start for 12 months as we got new for old for the first year, I couldn’t see any issue to extend that to 24 months.

I dealt with Louise who was most helpful.

One thing to consider is that even if you car insurance policy provides new for old for the first year, it may not cover any options unless declared when you take it up, also and more importantly many policy’s do not cover new for old for cars you don’t own, lease cars be definition are not owned by you.

The wife just got her new car, the dealer offered gap insurance for two years for £800, I got three years cover covering up to £50k for £250 which covers replacement cost not back to invoice. We deferred the start of the policy for a year as she owns the new car outright and the motor insurance policy covers the new for old risk for the first year.

Have a look at http://www.gapinsurance.co.uk (other providers are avalable)

If I was thinking about a c11 then I’d have a look at known second hand dealers for a Bell & Ross myself.
Try blowers, miltonares, watch club, or some gray dealers like iconic who can give 10-20% off of new.

no need for mesh if you use a few paper clips joined together connected to the end of the chain

So just did three chains and quite easy.

Found the wax okay to get out of the tin by cutting into chunks with a long craft knife.

I only have a mini fryer so I think three chains at a time is the most i can do.

Put some nails in the rafters above my work bench and got some paper clips to go though the end of the chain and i could hang them to drip into the fryer when i removed them.

I found the chains we too long and dipped back into the fryer so used another paper clip on the other end to double the chain back and shorten the length.

A quick wipe with a paper towel to remove the excess and after ten / fifteen mins ready to go back on the bike.

I think this way could be quicker that an normal clean and lube once I get the process down.

Was on the way back from an outwards bounds couse in the tail end of the eighties and we stopped the mini bus in a service station
The chap behind the counter had the most fearsome wig you ever did see, we conviced one of us to go and try and pull it off (the wig not the chap). Unfortunately with a good handful of hair my pal shouted out, “it’s no wig, it’s his real hair! Back on the bus boys”

I’m aware of both smudge and torchy but I’ve been wondering how there for cell packs differ from buying one of the ebay four cell boxes and then buying some quality protected 18650’s from panasonic?

You can charge them individually and ensure the cells are good rather that running them as a pack

Active crossovers go between the line level outputs of your head unit and power amps not direct to speakers.

If it was me I’d buy a cheep ish set of component speakers that will come with a matching passive crossover.

MS Office365 will do everything you want, around £35 pp/pa for mail calendar etc, if you want the office software on up to five systems it’s around £100 pp/pa.

Sorry I just noticed you also wanted website hosting, we use eject.co.uk for my wife’s business but any hosting co can do this for you. We split the web site and mail hosting so we could use the MS platform.

I’ve got a platinum dual non pumped, had it almost two years no problems at all and at the time of fitting my plumber had said he’d done a few without issue.

One of the great things IMHO is keeping the mixer / pump in loft for easy access and just popping through the ceiling to feed the heads.

Call your home insurance company, most have some form of legal cover, they are best placed to advise you and might well issue any letters etc to get the ball rolling….

If not buy a small four port switch, plug that into the power line adapter and you can run them both without swapping cables, plus if you get a smart tv or avr you have ports to spare….

try a tropical perlon nato / zulu strap. same idea as above but woven and softer better for a youngun id say also has the plus of not needing to make new holes as he grows as the buckle tab just fits through the weave.

Here on ebay from a uk seller, google may throw up others
