What size frame would suit someone 5’8 with short legs and a long torso? Road geometry confuses me.

Picked up one of these the other week. Actually quite impressed with it. Good thing buying from Farnell is they sell the replacement tips and other soldering essentials at very competitive prices. For guitar work maybe need a higher wattage iron?

I luckily picked up the Super B Derailleur Hanger Alignment Tool for £22 on Amazon last year which was a bit of a bargain but would pay double. Decent bit of kit.

Glass is far too hard to remove marring. A pointless exercise.

Lovely innit. Though they really need to post the geometry numbers! Their new e-bike is also looking rather tasty.

How does your foot rest at the bottom of the stroke? Is it flat or are your toes pointed down? Toes pointed down indicating saddle too high. Every bike fit video that I watch they all tend to say that the original saddle height was too high.

There is a video of a pro-pally supporter arrested in London today for turning up dressed as a paraglider complete with a parachute. Vile

Halfords Advanced 50pc Screwdriver Set – pretty happy with mine.

Onguard locks are cheap n nasty. Had two and they both eventually seized up with little to no warning causing slight panic at the rack and that’s with constant use which you’d think would keep them free.

I actually went with FedEx for around £23 but my god I wish I hadn’t now.

I did say it was complicated lol. Don’t worry about the payment though. I wondered the same after I had created the shipment and scheduled a collection. Everything went smoothly and I got automatically debited like 2 weeks after. I’d use again.

I see a guy doing Deliveroo in Edinburgh on a standard Brompton quite regularly. Just folds it up at the restaurant. Seems to manage.

Sent a full bike with Fedex in April with £1000 insurance cover and it only came to something like £30. It was the most competitive price I could find. Website it super complicated though as you need to set up a shipping account. For something smaller like a frame then Parcelforce usually works out quite good value.

No wonder they are selling off those Spada trousers. Couldn’t even get the damn things back off over my feet as they are so tight. Nice quality but the fits way off.

I have Decos and they are fantastic.

Liz Truss was not elected by the people. Boris was once and was turfed out due to corruption. He wasn’t elected over and over.

The levels of mental gymnastics involved in keeping the belief alive should be studied.

I can’t see this causing long-term issues for Hezbollah.

The amount of copium is off the charts. They’ve all had their bollocks blown off.

If you have Prime then another option is this 5L bottle of Gunk on Amazon for £10.45. I use it for all things bike and find it just as good as the old Screwfix version.

Was in Evans the other day and quite a few bargains to be had especially on their own brand stuff. I think there were also some FiveTens knocking about for about £25 but only on some sizes.

DMR V12. Literally bombproof. My pair are 10 years old now. Survived many crashes when used on my mountain bike and now have been on the commuter for 6 years and must have covered 20k odd miles in that time. Never cleaned nor serviced and the bearings still feel greasy smooth. Strong reccomend.

Are there any alternatives to maxima plush?

I used fox float fluid on my RS forks as had it laying around when changing springs around. I haven’t died yet.

This thread is what kept me coming back to the forum and then I would stay to browse other things. Glad it’s back.

They actually bought a spare frame linkage from me via eBay recently so yeah they are legit. Looks a nice shop they have.

Really like my Flowline. Feels like a better quality A1 which I also love. The Flowline fits exactly the same as the A1.

They also had pannier bags for £9.99 in two different styles.

I enjoy the Mitica and Storica saddle’s. I use the Mitica for 20 miles a day and no complaints and certainly a lot cheaper than a Brooks to take a punt on.

Nothing wrong with eBay!  You’re buying refurbed laptops from a business (usually)  who just sell through eBay at end of the day.

If you need any inspiration have a look at refurbished business grade laptops on eBay. They’re usually a few years old and in pretty good nick. Once they’re out of warranty business’s tend to get rid i think. Laptops such as Dell Latitude or Lenovo Thinkpads. My dad picked up a Lenovo T14 gen 2 last week for £300. I think it’s around 3 years old. Has an i7 CPU with 16GB ram and it’s in mint condition. Plenty bargains out there if you go second hand.

Two years into my OU course and I would just say don’t worry and just go for it. The material is very easy to follow and early on they do incorporate study skills into the studies. There is also the student forums and you are assigned a tutor for any questions.  You also only really pay for a couple modules at a time so if you really hate it and it’s not for you then no big loss. Dive in and crack on I say.

If the stock headset on this Cube is anything like the the one that came with my Cube e-bike then they are complete junk and won’t last long anyway so expect to change it fairly soon. The one on my touring hybrid came with those god awful plastic cups although mine isn’t internally routed so yours might be better quality I don’t know. But once adjusted it would develop a little play few weeks later. Got fed up adjusting the headset and chucked in a full metal FSA number. Been rock solid 1.5 years and 7000 miles later.

What a mess. When eBay refunds the buyer they do so out their own pot and then they debit the money out of your bank  the next working day and you are then fully squared away.  You get something like 1-2 weeks to deal with open cases so I’m guessing your son totally ignored everything and then de-linked his bank account from eBay stopping them from taking the funds back.

Sorry to hear you’re down with it again. I find it so interesting how everyone gets it in varying levels of intensity. I know that I’ve had it twice and both times it was less severe than a common cold, barely knew I had it. Strange old world.

Silkolene PRO RG2  – Doubled in price since I bought it a year ago though. Bloody good however.

Loved the round deep fitting of the A1. Don’t like that the liner starts to delaminate after a while. I’ve had three and happened to all. Tried the A3. Does not have the same fit as the A1. Felt more perched on top. Returned. Now I run the Flowline and it fits basically the same as the A1, has better liner, more adjustable and I really like the visor as it’s got a lot of range.

Enjoyable game. Game flowed quite well. Seemed to have more ex-pro’s on the field than previous years? Or maybe the celebs just had a higher skill level than normal. Stephen Bartlett was impressive.

The 12 speed XT shifter is shifting perfection to me. Bloody love it.
