Lived in Netheravon for a while. Out of the house, on to mile after mile of open country. I must have ridden every bit of every track out there over the years.

Rode across from Brigmerston to Tidworth and on to Ludgershall a while ago amid the heaviest tank activity I’ve seen for a while. Loads of them around the TVDTA.

The important thing about tanks (and APCs etc #NotATank) is that they ALWAYS have right of way. The good thing is that they’re bloody big noisy buggers so it’s not hard to spot them and get out of the way!

Better mounting options for a Garmin.

For example, I use a K-Edge out front Combo for mine, which is super sturdy, and has a light bracket underneath for my Sirius. Tidy bars are a good thing.

Also, as above, they’re designed to be used outdoors, not just get a splash of frappacino on them in Hackney, dahhhlinhg. ;) Work well in the rain, with gloves on, etc.

A bit of a jack of all trades, but on the brief go I’ve had in them, they’re great fun to sail. Fast when you want, steady and stable when you want. Light, too. Not sure if you could roof it, but a great little boat otherwise.

Obviously though, the real answer is a Hartley Wayfarer and a trailer. There’s a reason classic boats like the Wayfarer become classics.
