Gordon has a “War Room”, though.

Is it just me, or does he look more and more creepy?

chapa, You could happily do red and black in a day, yes, but bear in mind that they start from two separate car parks (About 4 miles road between the two, IIRC). You can, however, link the two up. Have a look at the trail map on the MBWales site.

As to Bed & Brechfast – Genius!

I likes it. It’s my next trail centre stop, as it happens, on a 3 day road trip.

It’s a nice mix of wide open spaces, which you might call “proper mountain biking” and the playground fun and games of a trail centre. ‘Mark of Zorro’ is a hoot – Vid link here – http://www.mtbbritain.co.uk/images/nantyrarian_zorro_lower.wmv

The cafe’s a little full of the loo, brew and a view brigade, but they do nice cake!

Overall, a nice place. Well worth a trip. Plus, there’s loads of really good open trail mountain action to be had around there.

Beatles = Stock Aitken & Waterman trash of their day. And professional Scousers as well, which makes them eternally dull.

If you ever run out of Welsh Rarebit, I may have to kill you all. Just so you know…

I’m loving my Wusthof Classics. Understated design, excellent balance and they take an edge like nothing else. Not too cheap, but built to last.

Older cars kept on the road are more environmentally friendly than buying new ones, therefore should be taxed less. Discuss.

think i’ll need to lower the handle bars. lower and wider i’m thinking

Just back from first ride on a set of Easton Havoc bars. Very impressed with the shape and feel of them.

To be honest, I’m not that impressed with Spesh tyres, as the sidewall on the stock ones (Eskars) went at the weekend. Haven’t had a sidewall go on anything other than loony tunes old school XC race tyres before, so am not too keen!

If any other serviing officer had done exactly the same, would it have been “pumped to death” by the BBC et al?

Can’t believe no-ones done this one! A Monday morning special, if ever there was one!

because its such a non-news event that’s only got traction because the BBC want to pump it to death?

You mean rather than talking about the fact the economy’s ****?

Thanks, RudeBoy, the thread appreciates the apology!

BigYinn, A&A is a simple concept, dreamt up by yours truly to replace the rather tired concept of Kylie. In essence, it is all about those who are both athletic AND aesthetic (Hence A&A). Always wanted this to be clean, and as it happens, open to the ladies and chap’s chaps of STW as much as it is to those of us who like looking at the ladies! I’d prefer to see it remain as worksafe as we can, to be honest.

So, here’s to keeping it as clean as we can and long may the A&A survive!

Being a vegan means no bacon sarnies, no roast beef, no sausages, no black pudding, no steak, no roast chicken, no kebabs, no ham, no salami, no lamb etc. etc.

    Are you quite mad?

C’mon folks, for the A&A to truly succeed, a little slef control is on order!

    Keep it clean, people!

(By the way, this thread now has the best tag ever…..! Thanks, whoever that was!)

Rather depends on the job. Where it’s a job in which your character, personality etc is important, there’s no harm. (Unless you have really dull hobbies and interests!)

For a job where there’s no life required (I’m thinking accountancy ) then no, leave them off.

Israeli forces shelled a house in the Gaza Strip which they had moved around 110 Palestinians into 24 hours earlier, the UN quotes witnesses as saying.

I wonder if the house had some nice capacious shower rooms? Perhaps a few bunk beds. Who knows, maybe even a little sign over the gate saying something like “Work will set you free”………………………………………
