I’ve painted tiles using a tile primer before and it was ok, if you want a great silky smooth finish then don’t bother but it’s a lot easier than retiling. Looks ok IMO.

No. The problem is that a lot of what we consider chocolate has a very high sugar content and putting this mixture in the fridge deadens the flavour of the sugar. Try eating a bar of melted chocolate, you probably I’ll find it too sickly, despite it being exactly the same as the refrigerated example.

Tips are to put it on a radiator to make it more supple before applying, and pull it pretty tight otherwise it unravells itself

Thanks, it will be used for practical transport and a bit of touring and days out. We don’t have a car and don’t particularly want to get one, but will use trains a lot. S&s is the other thing I’m looking at, but that still splits into a fairly large piece. Am going to try a Helios out soon.

Connector link is the right way around, it’s a clarks but the problem has happened with several chains. I’m going to try yet another mech tonight, if it’s not that then almost certainly must be the hanger

Lock ring came with cassette so that should be ok too!

Had a look, it looks fine. It’s a nicolai argon so the mech hanger is a huge piece of aluminium, 5-6mm thick. Looks flat as it should

I haven’t, it looks fine, mech is straight but perhaps worth a try (I don’t have one unfortunately though!)

I have some 44 to rc3s on my hardtail, they are amazing. They do bounce a bit more on the ups than some forks but that’s just because they’re so plush. You just have to climb without bouncing on the bars too much. You def won’t be disappointed with them

Veissmann have an excellent reputation for reliability. Remeha Eco plus are also worth a look. Make sure your plumber is familiar with whatever you choose though

Xantham gum is usd to thicken things, I’m sure it could be substituted (or omitted)

How do you “service” all these bb’s? Is it a question of removing all the seals, re-greasing with your finger and some grease and reassembling?

Flows on any hub, HANDBUILT! Factory wheels are an expensive joke. thats my opinion after having some of each anyway. Factory look good on paper but in real life they’re made to be disposed of, handbuilt wheels are made to last and repair as necessary
