cos most peaople wouldn’t even think of such a practical solution, they’d rather just get in their nice warm cars and spin the wheels round a bit and then complain that they can’t move

Yes it’s the whole thing, Rose are very very cheap for them. Just unscrew the old ones ( with the hollow tech tool) and screw the new ones in

Yes, or long would work fine it’s just far longer than you need. 36 teeth! Good effort!

I really liked the specialized one, I prefer the thicker ones as stans/jra seem to thin and just keep bubbling away whilst I’m frantically trying to pump the tyre up (with a track pump). Also used slime which is similar to speccy but I think the speccy one is better, seem sto have some kind of fibre in it

Ok I think there are enough negative experiences that it can’t be justified, for that price you shouldn’t have to touch them for ages I’d say! I have Royce on my road bike but the lack of axle options mean they aren’t really suitable now, I might check and see whether they’re going to start making other axles.

Any experience with superstar Tesla or goldtec ?….

140 will be plenty but absolutely go to some shops/demo days and try them, there are different designs and they aren’t all for everyone

Ive got an eaqualy ,almost,bizzare/ridiculous sighting! An Osprey! In Litlle Lever,Bolton.

    I,m 90% sure…honest.

It’s possible, we’ve seen them in Essex. They fly south from e highlands.

As for op, red kite is significantly bigger than buzzard, depending where you live it could be that. I don’t know of any bird of prey with a straight beak though.

Marsh harrier is another vague possibility depending where you are, not known them to sit by roads though. Kites and buzzards do

they have been done before and were considered terrible. There’s a reason why pneumatic tyres are ubiquitous, I suspect it is probably very difficult /impossible to improve on them with solid tyres

I’m put off by the fact that you’re not meant to machine wash the POC VPD pads…

Yep, not getting them then, that’s ridiculous!

Can you wash the bone ones?

The low energy ones take a while to warm up but they should give a nice colour of light, you may have bought the wrong ones. You want “warm white”. Philips and Osram are the best. LEDs are becoming a viable alternative, but as yet the light output is still a bit cold.

My gave is north downs, about 1hr from Waterloo (dorking) or an hour and a half drive. There are many days worth of trails there, but you need to know where to go!

I think this may be to do with their manufacturer issues, ie that they don’t have one at the moment. Shame as they are great forks and really seemed to be doing everything right the last few years

They are fine, heat control is better than radiators and they’ll heat the house quickly. Not sure why there aren’t more in this country but there’s noting wrong with them, there is a fairly limited choice of boiler manufacturers but that’s the only downside. They will cost a bit more to run than a modern condensing boiler, but no more than an old fashioned boiler. I too grew up with one and loved sitting next to it watching telly at 6am on weekend mornings

Make one of those pressure vessels that a few have posted on here, costs a few quid, try a search

A few manufacturers had the same problem for a while a few years back, don’t think there’s much to do, perhaps try and send it back for a replacement
