Novatech, but just get them from superstar if you can. I’ve not had any problems, generally seem reliable hubs

I had some GB ones on a commuting bike once, didn’t get on with them, has to cut them down to fit and they were a bit rattly

looked at the PDW offerings in condor today, I have 28mm tyres so need the wide ones, and they look really wide. Any more ideas? Radial look good but out of stock, and wrong colour!

Ideally fed to the village pigs, but that’s not allowed any more. Assuming the council put food waste in an anaerobic digester, or compost it, then put it in food waste. Garden waste I would guess gets dumped.

Trying to avoid the shopping and hanging about. Could hire a car if I have to. If I did, where should I go?

21! How did you get this far!? Joking aside, if they work for you keep using them, they might not be worth lots but still work. Put some narrow mud spikes on them and keep them as winter wheels.

Thanks for the input everyone, given quite a few recommendations I have gone with the corsa G+, theough I do like the look of the Clements. I was put initially off Vittoria due to once owning some rubino pros which are lethal in the wet.

I also had the colour one for a few weeks, I sent it back because of some of the above reasons. Got a wahoo bolt which is miles better

Cassette? Either freehub interface or the cassette itself. I had a similar problem on my commuter, thought it was the BB but turned out to be the chain, particularly where it was too worn to engage with the chainring teeth on the bottom of the ring

Cars are significantly heavier than I am, and have 4 wheels, so any contamination can burn off safely. It’s not comparable.

I ride in London but my commuting bike seems fine, it’s the mountain bikes which get less use and as it’s pretty flat they probably don’t get very hot often

I’m pretty sure they are contaminated, which seems to happen to me fairly regularly, I take the front wheel off after every ride for storage which may be causing it but cannot really see any other reason why they seem to get contaminated so often.

Buying everything new you are better off getting a full bike, as manufacturers get things much cheaper than we do. You can change things as you get more money! Some shops do 0% finance too

Wow that’s fast! Well done. Is it rideable on a CX bike? Or an mtb with extra summery tyres preferred?

I’m quite interested in one of these after reading a few reviews (inc this one). The phone battery thing does appear to be a problem though, anyone else had the issue? That’s the kind of battery use I get from having the GPS constantly running on the phone. Disabling the background app refresh for the wahoo app may stop it, but may disable the SMS functions?

sleeving is a perfectly reasonable repair. Should last a good while, not as long as a new clay drain, but many years

Looks like it is too late but I have tried Rapha Core and Giordana and prefer the Giordana. Similarly priced though. The Rapha ones do look better though.

as hopefully everyone who has any semblance of unselfish-ness about them should.tories have proven in the last 6 years they are wholly incompetent at running a country.

Thanks chaps, sounds like I should try some new SD cards first off.

I use a Hifiberry Digi to get optical out of the pi, works well and means the USB is free, as the USB can get a bit overworked with a wifi dongle ini it leading to track stopping. There are alternatives available now.

I have to power off the pi by unplugging, I only do it when it crashes so there is no software off!

Thanks for those suggestions traildog, I was wondering if that kind of thing existed, an option if I cannot get better memory cards to work.

Oh and it’s a WDMyCloud, has a DLNA server but that’s all.
