Mine is Guy Opperman (pure Tory scum). He represents our town/area but does’t actually live in the town and chooses to live in a posh area of Newcastle. What a prick!

It’s an absolute joke of a website/forum. Constantly crashing. Won’t be paying my digital subscription next year.

I love my Rad8 glasses, superb build quality. And what other company gives away a free good quality skull cap with a purchase.

Could be worse. I had a stone go through my windscreen at 70mph when some kids were throwing stones off a motorway bridge. Luckily no one was sat in the passenger seat of my car. Caught the little shits on camera though.

@slackboy I bought mine from Merlin Cycles and it was only £1 more expensive than Amazon.

Unfortunately the app is crap and Sonos have known about this for years but done nothing about it. I used to own 3 different Sonos speakers and eventually got fed up with them and replaced them with Audio Pro speakers (which don’t use a stupid app).

That’s a beautiful looking bike! I’d keep it SS, but I’m a bit of a nutter.

Don’t fix what isn’t broken. We’ve all seen what happened with the XT brakes. Old M785’s were amazing, new M8000 were very inconstant. Saint brakes are superb and don’t need changing.

Get a cat. As you are a first time dog owner this is a seriously bad idea. Your home is going to get trashed with leaving Collie pups for that amount of time alone.

Yes I have had a very similar experience like yours. When I was 21 (15 year’s ago) both my parents passed away 5 months apart from each other. I ended up drinking heavily and taking tons of cocaine. After trying to kill myself unsuccessfully and after a year and a half of abuse to my body and mind I went to see a doctor and they put me on anti depressants as well as doing alcohol and drugs anonymous courses. It took me ages to get my confidence back until I decided to go backpack around the world. Traveling for me really helped me improve my confidence around others as well as seeing the importance of life<span style=”font-size: 0.8rem;”>.</span>

Did my first ever 360 in my car today. Going down a steep road in Northumberland and hit black ice, luckily no one else was coming up the hill.

@sofaboy73 yeah the addon is mains power only. I listen to lot’s of different music from post metal to drum & bass to classical and it’s great with anything. It is a bit bassy like you said but a hell of a lot more reliable than the unreliable Sonos kit I had before.

I’ve got an Audio Pro Addon C5 in my large open plan kitchen. They are great speakers and don’t require any annoying app. I’ve actually got 4 all around the house. I highly recommend them.

Thanks to everybody who responded. Didn’t quite expect this amount of responses, what a nice community we have.

I am looking to learn coding so I can start building a mobile app. I was diagnosed with Aspergers six months ago (late diagnosis at 35) and throughout my life I have found dating very hard. All the current dating apps are focused towards neurotypicals and nothing towards autistic people. So there is a large gap in the market for this type of dating apps.

I realise it’ll take me a while to learn to code but I’m pretty determined to do so, so I can help myself as well as others within the Autism community. I bought a Raspberry Pi a few days ago so that should arrive soon and i’ll look into Python.

Yeah definitely. My local wood has turned into a slop fest due to the increased amount of people using it during the lockdowns. Before last year me and my trail building mates wouldn’t see a sole in there but now everybody in town is up there.

@hugo na £180, the same one I posted in my og post. And yes my doctor did recommend it as I suffer from joint issues due to arthritis. I can give you her number if you like. Or you can stop being an arse.

@hugo that’s okay, I’ll stick with my doctor’s advice as opposed to yours. There’s plenty of articles online crediting them for weight loss and muscle gain and I have first hand proof of it.

@wonkey_donkey you can utilise it in many ways. Within a 15 minute session I stand on it and do lunges as well as kettleball swings and weight lifting. I also do two and one handed press ups on it. This video will give you a better idea.

Over the last 3 months I’ve managed to loose 13kg and gain a ton of muscle through using a vibration plate with a kettleball and dumbell workout. I hated doing any kind of weights workout before I got my vibration plate now I am addicted to using it. A 15 minute workout on the highest setting with weights is apparently the equivalent to 60 minutes doing weights without it and it definitely feels like it. I started doing one 15 minute session a day and now I’m doing 3 a day. Absolutely amazing bit of kit and a great investment.
