Let’s all just hope that he has an OTB. I imagine as those bikes way an absolute ton it could do some right damage to him if it landed on top of him.

The London property market has always been mental, so not much has really changed in the past 30 years. I bought a small 1 bed flat in Haggerston 15 years ago, when Haggerston was an up and coming place. Sold it 10 years later and made a £500k profit.

I had an issue similar to this a few years back. I used to live in a very rough part of Newcastle (Denton) that used to get terrorised by the local youths on mx bikes at night. After a few run ins with the local yobs and the police being called multiple times, I made the sensible decision to get the hell out of there, before I ended up getting in a fight. Now living in a lovely Northumberland town with far fewer scrotes.

Like others have said a set of old Reba’s would do the job. The dual air version would probably be best as they are very easily tuneable.

Took the Cosworth out for a hoon round Kielder. Hasn’t been out of the garage in 6 months and performed beautifully.

Welcome back mate. I also went for my first ride this year although it knackered me. I caught Covid but luckily only once and it completely destroyed my stamina. I still struggle to walk more than 5 miles before being absolutely knackered.

Had a similar incident to this while living in Sheffield 10 years ago . I was side swiped by a car that over took me and then turned in front of me. I went straight over the bonnet and head first into the ground. I ended up with 2 broken wrists a broken shoulder and some cracked ribs yet the driver got away with points on his licence and a driver awareness course.
As a result of this crash I gave up riding on the road altogether and have zero trust in the police and magistrates.

Muddy Fox are now owned by the Fraser Group. So good luck finding it anywhere else apart from one of his bargain basement stores.

I feel for you mate. During the first lockdown I got a job at my local Tesco working as a picker for the click and collect service. I lasted a week before walking out half way through a shift. I only did the job to fill in my time and didn’t need it for financial reasons.
The manager was claiming she didn’t have enough staff so couldn’t give the current staff their full entitled breaks. Basically we were working a 9-11 hour shifts with a 10 minute break. I reported them to trading standards.

I often see this burke in my local woods riding a hideous B52 ebike/escooter. He clearly hasn’t a clue as he’s got slicks on it and must struggle as 90% of the wood is mud.

I use a few K&F Concept camera’s to keep an eye on my trails. There just cheap trail/hunting cams but have lasted me a fair while and spend pretty much all year round deep in my local woods.

If it’s taking you 65 minutes to talk to your bank, sounds like you need to change banks. Any chance that your with HSBC? I’m with Lloyds and have never had to wait more than a few minutes to talk to someone.

I do wonder why this forum is so archaic in terms of posting pictures. I use other forums and there a lot easier to post images.

When I lived in NZ I got my DH bike and jump bike shipped over. I used Severn Seas shipping and they were great.

That looks very similar to what happened to me 10 years ago when living in OZ. Had a blow out of the right front wheel on my Toyota Land cruiser traveling around 60mph and it ripped the side panel and most of the front bumper off. Was a pretty scary situation on a motorway.

I was chased and nipped by a Collie while cycling in my local woods the other day. Once the dog nipped the back of my ankle I stopped and gave it a boot across its chops a few times before it pissed off back to his owner. The owner wasn’t too happy with me but once I reminded him of the dangerous dog act he shut up and walked off.

My eeWings are a long term investment (I plan on having them for the rest of my riding life). I also own other boutique gear like an Intend Edge fork and custom Curtis frame which I will never ever sell.
I don’t see any issues with buying boutique gear for cycling as if you’ve got the money and you love what you are doing then why not.

I’ve got a set and absolutely love them. There beautifully designed and manufactured and light. If you’ve got the money why not?
