End it now. clean break. No animosity on your part. It hurts like hell and you will doubt what you’ve done possibly, but you have to be honest with yourself first and foremost.

Report it to the police. Did you have her number? then get to the G.P. so he can take a look, and you have a back up if any delayed onset injuries result.

Speaking with hindsight after a severe spinal injury which i thought at the time was nothing…

+ 1 fpr the local dog walker. Our BT goes out with them 5 days a week for 3 hours a time, dog is only left alone for 2 hours either side of that. She’s bloody knackere when i get home too! has a great time and brilliant socialising especially for a dog of that age.

Seriously worth some thought as it sounds as if you have a top dog there and as you say circimstanses change, and may do again, giving you more time!

You still have somtheing in there then i reckon! Or it could be scar tissue formed in healing the lesion. More likely to be the latter, it should calm down if you stop picking at it.. (did i really just say that?). :?

The chemical or freeze topical applications dont ‘freeze’ or ‘burn out’ a wart. They cause damage to the lesion, exposing the virus to the hosts bloodstream, and hopefully the host will react, and fight the virus that caused the wart. As there are over 2000 known strains of mosaic virus that cause these things, chemical nuking or freezing can not only be pretty hit and miss, but also very damaging as they destroy good tissue as well as the site you want to treat.

As woody2000 said looks more mechainical that systemic. Possible foriegn object embedded in both that you’ve missed, or a ‘corn’ from repeated pressure. Either way if it really bothers you then go see a GP. Dont ‘nuke’ it, you will probably do more damgage than is there already, and if it is mechanical be a pointless excersize anyway.

Do not think its a wart or verucca, no deviations in the finger print ‘lines’. Any pain? Pain when squeezing laterally or direct pressure?

What do you do Mr. Spider? Any repetative use of finger and thumb?

Wait until the pain stops. Warm up, gentle run/walk mix. 10 mins, increase the time you run very gradually, give yourself time to rest and repair. Dont change your shoes just yet, but buy some dedicated run shoes and make sure you’ve worn them around the house for a bit until your used to them.

If you looked like that you could do what the hell you like!

I mean to say, argueing the toss with her would be out of the question! Would prefer a good poke in the eye with a sharp stick.. oh, hang on.. she’s good at that too!

Currently drive a Peugoet partner 1.5d, previous was a peugeot expert 1.9d, and before that a High top transit 2.5d. Seem to have got smaller vans, but happier now as they are more suited to my needs and quicker too. When i need a car for more passenger space i use Mrscarbons. Wouldnt revert back to a car for my personal use, its so much more practical for work and chucking the bikes in…

Personally, I spend a moment of silence for ALL those who lost lives in the horror of conflict.

Observed a 2 minute silence at 1100hrs, then called my next patient in. The man was elderly, smartly dresse in a 2 piece suit, shoes gleaming, poppy proudly worn in his lapel.

Tears were evident on his face.

Talked to him during his treatment, he served in WW2 as did his brother. His brother was killed two weeks before the end of the war.

We shook hands and embraced at the end of his visit. I found it very emotional, and thanked him and his brother.

Ivor, it was indeed a pleasure and an honour to meet you..

Had to drive over the crash site on Monday morning. I was sickend by the terribly short piece of new tarmac that marked the site. So short! 37 vehicles… just terrible

Brother in law works for Samworths.
They lost two drivers that night, and yet another is still in intensive care.
He said he was due to take one of the loads that night that was involved in the crash but they sent him north instead. A fully laden lorry would have had no chance of stopping at those speeds. To hear him sobbing in shock over the phone on saturday morning was a very sobering experience. He said that night that as the news came through as he was driving there were cars speeding past at 80 to 90 mph, he was travelling at under 60mph, but at those speeds and a heavy load if something were to happen he would not be able to aviod it.

Whilst queueing for the checkout at Tesco yesterday, my 12 year old lad pointed to the checkout lady and whispered something he should’nt have in my ear. I replied with a quick cuff around the ear and a barked “Dont you ever let me hear you say that about anybody else EVER AGAIN! Wait til i tell your mother.
It was then i noticed the checkout ladie name badge ‘Pisina Poole’

    I kid you not! :D

My lad was just trying to tell me she also works at his school!

The Flu jab cannot give you flu. It contains NO active virus. It MAY give SOME people a fever and muscle aches for a day or so. Your immune system will not have developed the antibodies to fight an active virus targeted by this years jab for 10 to 14 days after the injection……….

So you could get the flu and show symptoms, doesnt mean the jab is the cause. :|

+ 1 for stoatsbrother. Shorten your milage and build up slowly. Do it on soft grass (golf course?) if you can. Please get this seen to of its the inside of your knees? not being rude but could be your weight affecting greater pressure on the inside of your knees just as much as over pronation (PLEASE DONT GOOGLE PERONATION AND TAKE ADVICE ON SHOES ON THAT ALONE)I see almost as much damage done to soft tissue of feet/ankles, knees, hips, with googled advice as i do with injuries caused by too much running too soon.

See a specialist Podiatrist or Physio oif the pain persists,.. take it slow.. Good luck
