2-9 Kona kula supreme, rigid weighing in at a svelte 20.4lb.
First ride was last night. Well impressed

Had my first ride my new Kona Kula 2-9 tonight, SS set up with rigid forks weighing in total 20.4lb, FANTASTIC.

Not much difference overall to my Curtis whish is also SS rigid, apart from it rolls choppy roots a bit better.

All to do with how you set it up, and how you want it to react.

Had a king, mate had his about a month longer than me, his was showing signs of wear on non drive side in 3 months.
I have gone back to Sq taper royce with rs8 middleburns, no faff all out of the crap, 12 month warranty on bearings.

Worked for past couple of years for me, worth a punt atm from On-one as currently v cheap

either or if really dry, tend to use on the back more though, the tread flexes well enough to drive you through just about anything, I use an XC/AT 2.2 on the front of my rigid SS and find this is the best way for me

+1 for red cabling looking shit.
It's a Curtis, doesn,t need overdressing with garish colouring, the frame does the speaking.

yep on way home from work, 2 ambulance journeys and a couple of days in Bristol Heart infirmary, taking my time getting into the swing of things again, spent today building the boys new bike up, promised it since march so now he's almost a happy bunny, just need to bleed rear brake and were sorted.
