I just say excuse me please as i don’t want a bell that dings every time I go over a kerb sized bump.

after they ignore my second attempt and just barge through at the next gap I see.

I think the correct solution is to round up all of the old timers and send them to the Isle of wight, then build a big wall around so prevent them escaping, at least it will stop them driving too.

I’m only running 11 36 and have this issue.

managed to get it a bit better to the point that It doesn’t always happen by adjusting the spacers on the crank to bring the chainline in a bit.

only other option i see is to remove one of the black 2.5mm spacers from the drive side bottom bracket and fit it on the non drive side.

Ive give up worrying as it only happens in first gear.

so long as you get the correct type for your bottom bracket you can run whatever crank you want.

I got brake fluid on my disc and pads when being careless.

brushed a thick layer of swarfega on the disc and span the wheel gently holding the brake on and used a clean rag that was soaked with warm water rub the disc with.

then washed off with hot water.

    boom fixed.

if you need a headset get a da bomb depth charge.

comes with everything needed to run either 11/8 straight or a 1.5 to 1 1/8 tapered steerer.

paid 30 for mine from chain reaction.

using black chilli x kings. really like them although feel the nobby nics are a better all around tyre.

x king doesn’t feel the best on loose ground or in the wet.

also the nobbs tear off quite easily.

    I would consider them again.

    let’s get this right.

your complaining because you got asked for I’d to prove your British discount card is actually yours.

maybe your union jack pin fell off of the breast of your shirt, so for all he knew you could of just been a relatively clean immigrant?

a certain standard of service is to be expected and if not met should be reported back.

I would expect a bike to be safe to ride away in perfect working order.

makes me wonder where else this guy cuts corners for other customers.

yeah the stock is 12mm x 135mm and in great condition off of a 2010 attack trail, I’ll keep in mind. I’d be willing to sell as soon as I have the 10mm qr ones in hand.

but if I fail in getting them I’ll have no choice but to keep and sell my beloved crankbrothers wheels.

I’ve found a place selling the drive side, so it’s now a case of ringing winstanleys and seeing if they actually have the non drive side in stock. too many places show in stock on the website but are not actually in stock.

first things first I guess would be to call bike station as they show to have both in stock, although no reply to my email.

if my wheels won’t sink into it I will use it to ride.

and I will especially use a footpath if it skips a set of traffic lights.

sweet yeah those are the ones.

wouldn’t need them if my crankbrothers wheels was able to take a 12mm axle. but I happen to have the ones that you can’t change.

its not a problem i have ever suffered with.
I’ve a problem with one of my eyes that affects my depth perception and causes straight lines to look curved. Getting a stem straight is a bloody nightmare for me

how do you tell if your going straight.

when going around a bend does it look really bendy or straight.

I would personally be looking at a replacementime or some money back.

I would want something to compensate.

I get pissed off enough when I scratch parts myself but not even having the pleasure of doing it would get right on my tits as it’s supposed to be brand new.

I’ve not fractured a finger but I’ve broke a few knuckles and found the small vibrations of going off road really took its toll.

that was after a few weeks of ‘healing’

rest is your friend. if you feel ready to ride in a few weeks just don’t push to hard.

I just use hot water and some swarfega original with a dash of washing up liquid.

mix it up so the swarfega gel dissolves then wash the bike with a brush.

that tends to be the day after a ride. if I wash the same day a quick house down is all I do and I’ll clean the chain with a bit of wd 40 and a toothbrush then relune.
