Didnt really want to be stripping down a fork on a bike ive just bought but decided to have a proper look.

Turns out there was too much oil in the fork lowers.

I haven’t myself but know a guy who used to sell them. Some are OK quality the others pants. They are fakes though obviously.

Tk maxx is good for cheap branded items.

A quite often have viewings on things I sell.

I prefer it as it gives them a chance to see it properly and me a chance to explain the condition properly.

Also tends to end in a cash sale so I save of eBay fees.

Depends if you belive everything spouted on here.

I’ve sold loads of 26 inch parts including wheels and got their true value not the STW value.

yeah there’s that risk of dirt getting where you don’t want it.

I can’t access mine whilst it is on the bike because of the close together linkages of my attack trail.

nothing on the lounge for vitus.

it’s a easy shock to set up anyways and comes with a good guide that’s easy to follow.

had my shock almost 100% after just a few hours playing.

I’m basically the same terrain for my local riding

I really rate my x kings racesport I’m running now front and rear (black chilli).

personally prefer nobby nics for overall performance though as they felt that they had a bit more grip when leant over on looser surfaces.

x kings roll better than the nobby nics though.

but then the nobbys knobs don’t wear down as quick if you lock up the rear like the x kings do. I’ve got a couple that havery torn off.

I was running both sets of tyres tubeless (bit of a task with racesport x kings)

but then I do have a decent bike with minimal chain growth.
a bike being “decent” doesn’t relate to chain growth

but a decent suspension linkage does.

can’t tell the difference myself with the clutch off or on whilst riding until a big enough drop to cause chain slap.

stayed true even after I tightened the clutch up.

but then I do have a decent bike with minimal chain growth.

guess drivers will need a metre stick glued to the near side mirror to make sure the distance is correct down the the last cm to avoid conviction.

and I’ll assume cops will be walking around with a metre stick to measure each gap somehow for every pass.

    waste of time.

    love my hopes.

but thinking of converting to caliper brakes as discs have no advantage over them.

I would say it’s because riding on a accident hotspot just because your afraid to go through a underpass that might have a youth walking through it is just retarded.

I like my suspension clean and the drive train clean.

the rest waits until I feel up to it.

I’ve had hope discs come out the packet slightly warped so I’d assume your disc is probably slightly warped too.

    easy fix.

go to a well lit area and spin the wheel whilst looking through the gap in your caliper watching the disc. when you see it touch the pads bend that point in the opposite direction slightly and keep doing so until it’s sweet.

my monarch that came on a recent frame purchace was knocking. returned the shock ti the company and they couldn’t repair it. they are swapping it out for a fox ctd shock for me.

not that it matters since I’ve bought a ccdb inline.

if it’s a quid cable I wouldn’t bother. I’d just slap myself for buying that cheap tack.

if it is a high quality cable like a belkin I would return it as they have proper warranty on them.

    for future reference.

adjust the derailleur limit screws before you put the chain on.

10 speed I’ve found the easiest to set up.

doubt it will be real chrome.

my microwave combination thing has a chromey looking rack too.

was a crap buy as it works pretty crap as a grill and crap as a oven.

works fine as a microwave though.

no damage at all. maybe a bit of extra tyre wear in the middle at worst if you have a little noday car.

the max pressure is for a cold tyre also so it would be miles away from blow out territory.

I kick the pedal backwards evertime I get on my bike as I like the left pedal at the bottom when I mount.

    check your b screw adjustment.

chain could of stretched a bit allowing the top jockey wheel to touch the cassette.

that can make it pretty clunky pedalling backwards.

I’ve cleaned similar things with a mix of isopropyl and salt, shake shake shake. then finish off with a few rinses of hot water.
