As a Bolton fan,i can see us staying up, but only just. Think Villa will beat us in the rearranged game and stay up.

    Final League Predictions

    15th Villa
    16th Bolton
    17th Wigan
    18th QPR
    19th Blackburn
    20th Wolves

I very much Dislike Wigan and B*stard Rovers so I’m hoping they get relegated.

Been in bloody bed, as I’m on nights. Ah well I’m sure we’ll get another week long of sunshine again this year.

Look at something like a Newish 500 cc twin like the Honda CBF 500 or a Kawasaki ER5, not the most inspiring of rides but will return near 70 mpg.

I have a Suzuki GSR 600, basically a slightly prettier Bandit with a K4 GSXR 600 engine in it.

I get roughly 150 miles to a tank costing £20, although heavy wrist use has seen it empty the tank in 90 miles.

Simple way to tell if its a Hernia push said lump if it squelches, its a hernia. Also if when you push lump in and cough and it pops straight back out then its a Hernia.

I love Ocarina of time and have the collectors edition on the Gamecube. I really want to purchase a Wii to see if the Zelda games compare to Ocarina of Time.

Mine runs from my room and runs 20 foot through my room and outside into the extension to the router. It involved drilling 4 holes in the fitted wardrobes, running the cable up the outside wall and down into the extension where the router is. It follows an existing phone line so was easy enough.

Could use wireless but the signals shite.

People may not know him personally, but any human being with a caring nature will hope that another fellow Human being doesnt suffer or pass away.
I don’t know some patients on a personal level, but i can’t help but feel sadness if one passes away.

Same goes for Muamba, maybe more so as he is part of the club i have supported as a boy.

Took me at least 24 hours to become normal again. Depends on the Anesthetic used tho. I had profopol to be induced which took 7 seconds to send me under.

Spent two hours in recovery after the ops due to very low SATS (Oxygen Saturation levels) of 84.

It may have been to Morphine tho making me quite drowsy.

I had waited over 13 months for a recurrent Hernia Operation. What i did was go back to my GP and complained, he then offered me a appointment within a week to see a Consultant with Care UK which was a Consultant poking me and basically doing a pre op in a pre fab unit on B&Q Car park in Bolton, i was then offered a date for a Operation within two weeks at a Local BMI Hospital.

It was fantastic, single room, brilliant post op care and so far the Hernia seems to be holding 15 months later. The last one lasted 4 months before it popped back out.

I was so impressed by the BMI that i now have Private medical Insurance. £40 a month and thats with two pre existing medical conditions.

Sorry to hijack the OP’s thread. But can they be used for iplayer bbc et al? Also what about putting photos from a digi cam?

I always stick to 30 mph limits and 40 limits, however on NSL and 50 dual carriageways, i will stick to a speed that i feel comfortable at with the weather and road conditions in mind.

Sunday Morning A666, hardly any cars on it, its dry and clear will be dispatched at a steady 80 mph.

    Tailgating i can’t stand either.

haha mu ultimate biggest bug bear the one speed fits all drivers.
Mind you, the ones that really **** me off are the people who are constantly on the brakes. Have these people never heard of keeping your distance, observing further than the end of your nose and also the fact that you can use engine braking.

Driving, it not difficult, but some people make it look a real challenge.

Well its over 24 hours and i have had two. Helped by the sudden announcement that my smoking partner at work has quite. Which came as a shock, as she smoked like a chimney.

She’s on patches, i just think thats prolonging the agony.

Well I managed a full hour on the bike without stopping for a cig like i normally do. Not had one yet either. I think when my minds occupied i just completely forget about cravings. But at work, we are busy from say 2000 till 0130 and then from 0130 till 0600 there is very little to do other that sit down and watch telly and answer assistance buzzers from Residents.

Maybe i need to get back in the NHS on a ward, as i was lucky if i could have time for a piss, never mind a cig.

I really want to stop smoking, as im sick of the yellowing around my thumb and finger and the smell on them is disgusting, it will save me so much money. My main battle is work, if i can get through just one night of not smoking at work, I will quit for good i know it.

Don’t know if i should just stop tomoz or wait till the beginning of next week, new week and all that. I have 4 ciggies left.

I do want to go back to the times when i didn’t smoke and happily just sat their with a pint while people puffed away.

I should know better as i have seen the bad side of smoking, people with COPD at work due to the cigs and i don’t want that for me.

    Im 26, so still young.

I know i want to do it, as i was very anti ciggies before i started 4 years ago. Due to step dad losing his life due to lung cancer. Also I’m a high stroke risk due to High blood pressure, even with medication.

I know its doing me no good as it makes me gag and i have been known to vomit sometimes when i smoke.

Thing is tho, i found the first week or two really easy, it was as i got further on i found it difficult. For example, do a tough climb on the bike, reward myself with a fag, wash the motorbike, sit down and admie it with a fag etc.

Post Hernia they made me feel drunk and dizzy constantly. Changed to Oramorph and Co codamol and Diclofenac which made me floaty but pain free.

I’ve been the same recently due to work commitments and moving into a new house with the other half.
Now I decided that while she went to do a couple of Hairdresser duties I’d go exploring the local area for new Trails to ride and found a lovely little hidden gem (to me anyway) locally and had a great little blast.

Went out Early evening and you could smell the spring in the Air and it didn’t start to get dark till 1820 and it was great. I try to get out for at least an hour when I’m off work and not doing my man jobs for the missus.

Have a look on Google, find something near you that you want to suss out or try a new Trail centre or Moorland you quite like the look of.

I’m lucky in that I’m allowed to ride on Loweys land and other local delights.

Cheers for rollercoaster directions both of you. Is there owt worth riding at Blow job then? Like techy down hill. Like the short one from pill box to jumbles short but sweet although nearly went OTB on the steps. Another questtion Turton Golf course any direction to get round that end?

£1.33 a litre here at the Shell Garage. Costs me about £22 fill up the 125 which gets 270 miles to a tank and £18 to fill the 600 up which gets about 180 miles to a tank when ridden at sensible speeds or 120 miles if i rag it a bit.

But a more economical car or a motorbike for commuting.

Finish work saturday morning and then off for a week and a half. Going for a quick nosey around Birtenshaw and Eagley Brook when i get in before bed and then drinks round Manchester.
Wanted do Enty rollercoaster but its sunny tomoz,so it will be full of sour faced red sock knobs.

Gisburn Monday tho,not been since October so cant wait for that. Then Healey nab and Rivi when the missus lets me out.

Yeah i usually ride before a shift i.e at 0600 in the morning till 1130 ish have some tea and then up at 1800 for food and then work. Just wondering if i should do a short hour blast after my night shift tomoz and then go into work. I like to think that its only like normal people having a evening ride except my evening is normal peoples morning etc.

Get a week and half off from sat.

Midlands very nice and quite central.
McDonald Piccadilly next to the station is very modern and also nice, personally thinks its better than The Midland.
Palace Hotel on Oxford Road. Stopped here last weekend and the excalibur Rooms are very very nice. Quote a old and Dark building and a bit of a maze but its a nice hotel if the above two are booked up.

    Ideal location also.

I’d like a Road bike mainly for stamina building really.

I dont mind wearing tight tops and something covering all my legs like tights and maybe some padded shorts over the. top.

I darent shave my legs as its like Gisburn forest all over!

Saw a ok looking bike in Decathlon for £300 triban i think.

I’m quite young at 26 and find it difficult to get motivated. Especially after a 12 hour night shifts, were you just want to sit down and relax on your days off.

However come spring time when it gets a bit warmer and drier I know the motivation will come flooding back and I’ll be out for a few hours every night/day after work or before work and on my days off.

Not been for a proper ride since January, been on local flat routes and thats it.

Same goes for the motorbike, these cold wet days really makes me want to chop it in for a car, but a bit of warm sun and flys hitting my visor and it puts a smile on my face.

Stick with it, do something different over these last few weeks of dark winter and you’ll be fine.

Did a 13 half hour flight from Manchester to Singapore Via Munich. First hour was easily dispatched by nosying out the window etc then from the Munich leg i spent time listening to my Ipod, managed to read most of a book and next min i know the sun is rising and we are an hour from Singapore. I find window seats are the best, due to being able to rest your head on the window.

Get a seat as far forward as possible to reduce the noise fatigue. Also, they actively encourage you to walk about a bit (seat belt signs off permitting) And being a twin aisle Aircraft on most Aircrafts, you can stand behind a Row of seats at the back near the toilets.

Most uncomfrotable Aircraft was a 747 – 400 as it was very cramped, however the 777 300 was a very spacious Aircraft with lovely seat pitch, even in cattle class.

Flew Business class tho on the way back from Perth to Singapore and Back to Manchester.

Only ever had one Rescue cat and she was very temperamental and didn’t enjoy being stroked at all for very long.

Got a Kitten who is now 4 and she is a little soft arse, doesn’t like being picked up randomly, but will happily come and park herself on you and play.

And her babies who are now 1 are soft as shite. Fred or Dave as i call him, he answers to both is a very vocal kitty and like his mother does not like to be randomly picked up and will growl at you, but has never scratched out. He will follow you around like a sheep and enjoys cuddles and just messing about in general. He does his dying swan act which is fun and likes belly rubs.

Ginger Bollocks is soft as shit also, and thinks he’s a bird and is forever covered in twigs when he’s not sat on you.

They are all fed 3 meals a day and have lots of attention, and the two kitties were handled from a young age and are very loving. Mother cat will give them a slap if the are naughty to.
