I couldnt get the 2011 Evo “tubless ready” to go up on my stan flows at all. I think it was down to the fact that i had just the tape on the rim and would require the rim strips in order to run them tubeless.

Reading on the Website it seems the frame only comes with a 1 year warranty, anyone know if this is correct?

If a frame is going to break its going to break within a year, but for a new to the market frame building company it worries me slightly.

vinnyeh: Thanks, that good to know it can be done. I had visions of more cost with having to buy a new dropper. Is yours a 3 or 4? mines a 4, do you still have the lower and would you be willing to sell it if 2pure dont come back to me with one?

Thanks, will have a search on bike radar.

Hopefully 2pure will get back to me with the same offer.

During its time at ITV and BBC it has never been flimed in HD. This year it is, it will be as glenp said, itll be filmed in 1080p but arrives into the country as an encoded MPEG at 1080i. I work in the teleport that provides the feeds to the Beeb.

Yup had exactly the same problem, Joplin R and Spoon. Got the dremel out and grinded away a bit of the saddle to create more clearance, worked fine for a good year until the saddle broke on a crash. Have a gobi on now with no clearance issues.

I’d just say “listen, I’ve got a new job, I love you all but I really must move on, can I have a shorter notice period please? kisses”

Pretty much the line im going with.

It does work both ways, whenever we have had someone leave ive always been grateful that they have to stay 3 months to train the new guy up. So i am well aware the benefit it has and im aware it is in my contract but with the company basically saying move 300miles to manchester or your out im not setting my self out to do the company any favours, Id rather try to get on the good side of the company im moving to.

Grantway, my friends alpine swingarm cracked in the place in the above photo, it was a big hole when he found it,got the whole frame replaced Speaking to the orange rep they knew about it and have since changed the design on the new one.

Lord, yup, Formula One Broadcast is the broadcaster that travels around to all the races, it then gives this feed to various other broadcasters, i once had an interview for them, there based in Biggin Hill. Broadcasters that have presenters and produce their own program have there own small Outside Broadcast unit and Satellite Uplink Truck, like the BBC. However there is a EBU feed that is distributed worldwide for broadcasters that do not have their own OB or uplink truck on site.

Fail? I didnt mention which commentary was used instead, i can assure you the pictures you were seeing were the EBU (European Broadcast Union) feed which is an international feed made avalible to many different broadcasters that dont have there own feed coming from site. The BBC use this feed as a Backup to there main Feed, you didnt have the correct commentary due an issue with there main feed.

I could tell you the exact transmission parameters used today, the Satellites used, the exact timings of the issue, i could even tell you what it was as i was one of the engineers dealing with it but i wont as you obviously know more than me as shown by your funny you tube video.

There wasnt actually any issues with the sound, it was an issue with the main BBC feed from Japan. During the issue BBC switched to the EBU international feed, when doing this the BBC do not get there own presentation feeds or commentary, which is why you heard different commentary.

With Madison and Hotlines boycotting it this year is it really going to be any good?

Surely the likes of shimano etc will not be there.

The V tree doesnt bother me, the part to get over is still there, its not changed that much. However the tree thats gone further up is the part that bothered me, its taken away the feeling of the trail as you can just striaght line it now, if i wanted to ride in a straight line id ride on the bridelways.

The start of T2 also has had a tree removed, at the very start where its tight and twisty through the trees, the challenging bit to get right fast. Well whoever it is has removed one of the trees so you can now pretty much ride straight through, removing the flow.

Ive had 3 metas and have never seen a crack in that location, most of the cracks on metas were on the welds.

Its not in a location that can be seen so why not rub the paint down?

I had a joplin 3, it went back to 2pure 3 times within a year, 2pure gave excellent service and a quick turn around everytime.

On the last return they sent me a brand new joplin 4, it definitely has less play but ive not had it long enough to see if the problems have been resolved.

Couldnt ride a bike without one now so its worth the hassle.

2008/09 were the dodgy years, i had both.

I now have a 2010 mini dh and it is vastly improved as is all the other models, no fear of them cracking anymore.

Ive just changed from an e13 drs to the gamut dual as i was fed up with replacing the overpriced rollers that wear far to quickly.

Gamut is half the weight and performs just aswell.

Brompton – fold very small, fairly light and easy to carry, ride reasonably well.

Mezzo – Awful ride, Brakes are rubbish, lots of bits to go wrong.

Dahon – Ride very well, fold is bulky and it falls over, heavy and awkward to carry.

Airnimal – You have to take the front wheel off to fold, enough said.

The reason bromptons are so popular is that they offer by far the best allround ability.

(I own a Dahon speed and have commuted via train into london for the past 3 years, ive ridden all of the bikes above.)

Ive got plates in both of my arms on both the radius and ulna and have had them in for about 11 years now.

I was advised against removing the plate on my left radius as i suffered nerve damage when i broke my arm and removal of the plate could bring it back, its perfect now. However i did go for the decision to remove both the plates on my left and right ulnas, the right ulan plate got removed fine but they couldnt find the left ulna plate as it was buried by bone that had grown over it, they said it was to dangerous to remove when buired by this much bone. So dont leave it to long or your be stuck with it.

So ive still got 3 plates in my arms and they dont really give my any bother at all, except when i smack my arm agaisnt something just in the right place, i sure know about it then! Its not something that bothers me, the scars are what remind me that they are still in there.

Your need the bontrager rim strips aswell in order to make the "tubeless ready" rims tubeless.

You can run proper ust tyres without sealent but its wise to have some in.
