I’ve been thinking about this, being a non racing mountain biker getting fed up of being out of puff

It’s a no because mtb is expensive enough already and drugs are bad mm’kay

I got some troy lees after I ripped my humvees on my saddle while dismounting 8) and I haven’t looked back, they are very well made think I’d need a chainsaw to rip them (they are the moto ones and have a very baggy flappy cut though)

Bit annoyed with this whole 650b revolution shite, bought a decent set of 26 wheels last year thinking oh well if anything the wheels won’t change so I’ll get some good’ns. How long until everything’s on 26.75″ wheels? </rant>

I second the part about bottom brackets and long spanners, you look a right bellend walking into the bike shop with a brand new frame with no threads in the BB shell 😳 Also try not to buy cheap bits off eBay because the one you need most will have a huge crack in it!

I use an MRP Mini G2 SL on mine and it works perfect. No problems with swingarm clearance or anything like that. You don’t notice it’s there which in my mind is how a chain device should be 😀

Where would ‘beasting the shoite out of it’ come into the equation? 😆

“Watch out though, because Hannah’s a good strong breast stroker” and “The Chinese are coming in the pool” are the two I’ve sniggered at while the swimming has been on 😛

Probably nearing £2000 or just over. Sounds alright, but I’m only 16 😕

Firth cycles is the best in my opinion, great service and honest prices, the opposite of Blazing Wallets!

I had a similar story with Orange, but they could’ve told me to sod off much easier! I bought a too good to be true Patriot frame off eBay for £400, and took it in for a re-paint. Couple of days later they rang me saying it was cracked and to send it back to the seller. Luckily the seller refunded it and I got my £400 quid back. Couple more days later I got an e-mail from Ben, saying he’d found a Blood frame that I could have for the same price as I bought my knackered Patriot one. They re-painted it a colour of my choice (neon orange – MY EYEES!) all for just £400! Top service if you ask me, but I do live in Halifax 🙂

Might be going one of the Saturday stages. I wouldn’t write off Kris Meeke if everything goes his way, but the minis have yet to prove on gravel. Go Petter!
