I have had X5,7, and 9. Rode a bike with XO… X9 definitely better than x7. It shifts like butter and isn’t as expensive as XO. Mainly because it’s just alu and plastic. Worth the cash. Shifters and mechs.

Climbing will almost always be better on a HT, especially if that’s what you’re used to. More hang ups, but more raw power.

FWIW, I got a full suss after riding a mates in Wales for a day. Since then, about 4 months, I have taken the hardtail down more decents that I got the Full Suss for. Keep the hardtail. It’s more fun HT. Plus! It makes you look like the pirate spawn of the Hoff and Steve McQueen at the end of a trail.. But without the misogyny.

    Cyclist is a total jeb.
Cop simply got caught out of his element.
I agree with none of it, but the guy did get out of a ticket.

Monsters was good for what it was, IMO. but everyone was expecting a horror film, I think. Like The Adjustment Bureau. Trailer made an awesome looking film.. The flick itself ws totally different but still good.

I have been buying Panasonic ergofit ones for the last 3 years… I have run them through the wash several times and even stepped on them. Still running strong. I only buy anew pair when I lose another. about 15 quid a pair.

the purchase of a white satin scorpion jacket too, but thought that might be going a bit overboard.

Never. That’s just Rock n Roll.

Tinribz- I am sincerely intrigued! But I am sure Mr. Von Trier made it all the way through. The ending is usually the deal breaker.

Ah, AC is a brilliant film. Wonderfully shot and written.

I saw V for Vendetta 8 times in theaters.. Equally glorious.
Only saw Pilgrim once, but it was beast as well.

Perhaps I am just not a HR front kind of guy then. :P I have never lost more front end control than when I went back to HRs in Thet. Love them on the back.. but just bomb it when they are up front.

That HR front is going to wash out like nobody’s business in Thet.

what is your rig, when will you ride?
It’s going to get really slogged here soon Thetford way. Especially on the weekends.
I run 2.1 ADvantages both ends. Sometimes a HR in the rear. 30psi.. No problems.

I think Catch 22 has more laugh-out-loud (or should I say LOL?!) moments than any other book I’ve read. Does waffle on in some sections though.
I just didn’t get it, I had a little bit of joy with it 1/2 way through when I started reading it with black adder goes forth picture in my mind.

I’ve read Catch 22 twice and never fully ‘got’ it I don’t think. I just can’t see what all the fuss is about. I do like Yossarian but I’m not sure if I can be bothered trying it again.

I never got on with this book… mainly because it is too close to the truth.
    Disgusting.

David Wong. Is he not a bit like Gaiman?

Dont think so. David Wong is one of the editors of cracked.com I believe he has only had the one book… and it is more of a glorious gush of conscious thought in no conscious order. Makes sense though.

A lot of the expirmental things on ANTICON(WHY? Object Beings) are righteous, actually.

Tom Waits’ Rain Dogs is also a powerhouse I never realised until 2 months ago.

All makes no odds though, I’m always awake by 4:00.

    Cycle everyday, then!

8 hours is irrelevant. Sometimes I wake up, after 2 hours, ready to take on the world.
I get by perfectly on the ‘slumber with a key’ route if I dont get to sleep the night before.

Even in mega steep stuff, 150 is nearly pushing it on a hardtail.. it gets too silly with anything longer. I have done rangers twice, once with 150 sektors and a second time with pikes to 130. Both on a Blue pig. I’ll take the 130 any day. Have had my eye on the Slackline for when the pig buckles.. and it’ll be getting the same setup.
