A mate had made it clear that he wants to go to Austria this time and I’ve heard some good info from a local yesterday – we just need to choose the right place now.

Just had a reliable source suggest Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis or Solden.

Apparently a lot of money is being put into Austria at the moment.

    Good point…

We’re after a mix of natural and bike park. Nothing too technical / screaming eagles downhill stylee – some flow and scenery is important. Most importantly lift assisted / minimal uphill as a couple of our group aren’t the fittest.

We’d also ideally need to be self guided, unless there are some suggestions on the best trails which need a guide.

Managed to put together a nice little loop of GT which I’m looking forward to, so thanks for the advice.

    Hmmm…

Spent some time checking Strava and Trailforks and I’m going to ask kindly if anyone has got a GPX or map of a good alternative of Inners? Nothing too tech but flowly and fun would be apprecaited.

Thanks – much appreciate the input. I’m assuming Mark of Zorro is down the back further along from Carl’s Lane?

Spoke to one of our exec today, turns out they wouldnt and cant do this. He’s a tad annoyed one of his directors is saying this.

I’ll still work as well as possible but the threat was unnecessary and glad I cleared it up.

I’ve asked for details of what they want me to do but nothing forthcoming yet.

So, they have to go disciplinary before docking my pay?

    Bushwacked

I’m more worried about docking my pay than being sacked.

The contract basically says while on notice period they can terminate my employment and any payment if I do some serious stuff that they outline, but then have a catch all of “this is not an exhaustive list”

Coming up on 43 in a few months, back pain was a problem previously and I rode a hardtail mostly before switching to a FS about 3 year ago – no massive change if I’m honest.

What did change my back pain was my physio teaching me to self manipulate two muscles which have near stopped my back pain. This was my Psoas and Iliacus. The pain does flare up but spending some time massaging these resolves it quite quickly.

Link to more info on the Psoas[/url]

Disclaimer – Obviously I’m no doctor and only speak of my experiences and having recently broken my back I’d highly recommend speaking to a professional

I started looking at 12-18month old cars on a 4 year loan but the cost was about the same as new but you wouldnt end up with a 5-6 yr old car at the end.

Been having a look and there are some interesting prices out there. Thanks for the tips.

Hora, looked at second hand but to get what I want/need would cost similar. I’m doing about 20k a year and need something comfortable that I enjoy spending time in. Did look at saving some cash by going for mazda/skoda/ford/volvo but not found anything I like as much as the a4 I’ve got, except the mazda was unexpectedly good value

Sync, I wanted to keep the trolls at bay by not mentioning details, but since you ask. I’m looking at an A4 Avant S-Line. Budget I have is about £400 per month.

I might check out Carwow as sounds interesting – is this just different dealers auctioning themselves off?

Can you roll back to your previous OS if you have issues?

    Bushwacked

OK, sounds like there are any major issues.

From what you’ve seen what are the main benefits on 10 over 7?

Speakers are a Denon mini system – so powered.

    Done a few things today:

    – Changed antivirus from AVG to Avast (after getting rid of Avast initially) as AVG was hogging resources.

    – Saw a more recent BIOS update which I’ve updated

    – Swapped the page file to a different HDD

    – Installed loads of Win7 updates (optional and important)

Something has worked as now been playing music for 90mins with no cut outs (touch wood)

Damn – done most of what has been mentioned. Checked for malware, uninstalled one of the Anitvirus. Tried music on just media player. Did it on a clean boot (ie no other programs running), not other issues in devman…

    Still occurring… :(

    Yep -64bit.

A mate has just mentioned it might be the fact I’m running 2 antivirus programs (AVG and Avast).

    Yeah, got it earlier.

Chipset is reinstalled along with all the other drivers.

Tried it running a video and other apps and there was two drops but the video carried on without a hitch.

Audio was running an MP3 on Media Monkey and also using Traktor Pro to mix tunes. Additionally I’ve had the issue browsing for records on the internet on places like Beatport.com

I work in the credit industry and I’m aware that any interest rate rise would have a massive impact on those living on the edge – where any increase in payments might put them into debt. Which is why I don’t think interest rate rises are going to be as rapid as everyone expects. I can see the noises about raising them are to prepare consumers for an increase but I wonder if this is more posturing than any serious move to do it.

My logic on the remortgage was to Fix it as the rates were expected to rise, although I didn’t think we’d see them rising that early or rapidly once they did start rising. The recent announcement has made me think it’ll happen even slower now so a discount tracker might be the way to go.

What’s your thinking on a long term discount/tracker?

    Understand the etiquette

But most importantly have fun and enjoy yourself.

She sounds very driven and keeps herself very busy. Does she ever just do nothing or is she physically and mentally on the go all the time?

What you describe sounds like she is burnt out slightly.

Someone posted earlier about mindfulness and I’d highly recommend it also. http://Www.headspace.com is well worth trying and super easy to get good results from.

I used to be a sceptic but having massively benefited after burning myself out I’ve become a regular user.

Thanks for all the advice – Hopefully all sorted, perhaps temporarily.

    – Air pressure was 280psi so reset back to 250psi

    – The black screw on collar was slightly loose so have unscrewed it fully (by hand) to find a bit of water and gunk. Cleaned as best I could, got the hair dryer on it to dry it out as best I can.

    – Bled the system – little bit of air although I did only do this about 3 months ago.

Once all this was done it felt a lot smoother and was working as quickly as normal once I’d done the above. Just testing it at the moment.

I think a full service might be needed soon. Any idea of the going rate?

Martyn, doing really well. Almost back to full fitness after my off in the summer. Peaks sometime would be good. Will check out some dates and see what we can arrange.

How does the enduro collar work?

My post has been rising slowly for a while so will be bleeding tomorrow I think

No, tried to press and pull but the seat just returned back to the lower position. Even tried pumping it but no joy
