I got the Tig Team SL in 2008 and the frame hasn’t changed since then. They just seem to change the components depending on year and deals they may strike with distributors. When I had mine it was full XT with dual control levers and a Magura Laurin fork. It was a cracking lightweight xc bike. Another one of my bikes I miss, it was my first expensive bike.

I bought a house and got the keys within 4 weeks with RBS. To be fair it’s not the bank who drag their heels it’s normally the solicitors when conducting the missives, although I suppose they’re maybe not as busy pre crunch. Get yourself a good brief and it’ll be sorted for you within that time frame.

Still trying to find a good soap/cream. What do you guys recommend? Could do with a new brush as well as I've been using my cheap one for nearly a year.

I changed to a Merkur Heavy Duty Double Edge Safety Razor (34c) using Derby blades. Not much of a bloodbath just need to get the angles and pressure correct and you won't get a better shave. Apparently you need to hold it like a dart.

Yup. I wasn't sure whether to write muzzle them or Muslim.

Heard that before as an opener!

Sold my iphone 3gs last week and bought a sim free HTC Hero. Loving everything so far, so many excellent apps that are free and the customization is a lot better than the iphone.

Looking forward to when they release Android 2.1 for the Hero as it'll make this little smart phone even better.

Not saying it's an iphone beater just different.

I fitted my own kitchen last year, bought it supply only from B&Q. It was pretty straight forward putting the units together. I had to get a mate in whose a chippie to hang and fix the units, mitre the worktop and cut out the inserts, but apart from that it was pretty straight forward.

This thread has made me phone Scottish Power up and it turns out my direct debit should be £51.40pcm instead of the £95pcm they have been currently charging me.

They're excuse was that my gas and electricity were out of sync in the billing periods even though its a duel fuel tariff and I enter my meter readings at the same time.

I got into nearly a £1000 in credit with Scottish Power and it resulted in them sending me a cheque for £700.

They're explanation was my online tariff wasn't correctly set up so the £95 pcm for duel fuel online tariff wasn't correct. They then dropped my monthly direct debit down to £60 so I was pretty happy.

Im on a deal that I need to enter my own readings so I was a couple of days late putting them in so they email an estimated bill and guess what my monthly direct debit shoots back up to £95 pcm.

I live in a 1 bedroom flat with fairly new energy efficient gas central heating system so £95 pcm is ridiculous. I signed into a fixed pricing tariff a few years ago which expires in 2011 as Martin ¨MoneySavingExpert¨ Lewis advised it. due to higher energy prices.

Well that didn't work. The phone said it had sent the request but it ain't on the Sky+ box when my wife just checked.

(Yes – the box is connected to the phone line).

    Still useless.

I've never had my sky box connected to the phone and it works fine for me. Just set it up on the web, you'll get an email telling you its been activated. Pick a program to record and it starts your Sky box up a few seconds later.

My "fake" 4×4 new shape Honda CRV 2.2 diesal has been excellent in the snow and ice.

It came with Conti Contacts 4×4's which I think are an all round kinda tyre.

Defining moment when my cousin slid into a tree with a Land Rover defender when driving down a country lane which was like a sheet of glass and my CRV jusr lapped it up, although I think his fatal mistake was touching the brakes.

I used to admire Henry's nonchalance when he was an Arsenal player but this act of cheating has really changed my opinion of him.

France are not the team they once were and hopefully will get pumped out in the first round at the world cup.

Domenech was celebrating like they'd won the world cup. When really they stumbled there way through qualifying.

Perchance anyone know where else you can watch NFL? Apart from the slingbox approach, which I am considering.

Yup they also show matches in HD. Member watching the packers v’s the giants a few years ago in the play-offs and the picture was stunning. It was like minus 10 and looked pretty cold.

My HD box is dying with what I found out is a common fault with Thomson boxes.

Phoned straight through to cancellations who I know would try and charge me a £65 call-out charge, asked to leave due to sub-standard hardware in the current climate maybe it was better to save myself some cash.

Free call-out by special heights team on Tuesday to check dish, box etc. but I know it’s the box so I’ll end up with a replacement FOC.

    Stick to your guns.

Polish tradesmen come with a good reputation. Reliable, high standard of work and work neatly….(not saying that other nationalities don’t.)

My thread wasn’t so much to do with nationality as to do with taking a chance on a plasterer over someone that was recommended.

Both quotes are fairly reasonable as a lot of work needs done before the finish. It isn’t the biggest kitchen in the world. So by no means is it peanuts for what needs done.

I got a set of Pro2’s laced to 321 rims including tyres. Only cost a £100 posted, the seller also could of got alot more on ebay for them.

Totally agree it’s not really in the spirit of the community. The classifieds are a great part of this forum and we should try and keep it that way.
