Max deserves the championship. He’s had more wins, more poles and finished 1st or 2nd in all bar three races. Baku with a tyre failure whilst he was leading, Hungary taken out by Bottas and silverstone fighting for the lead and taken out by Hamilton.
It’s the first championship Hamilton has actually had to fight for since he was beaten in 2016 and he’s now lost to a better driver who was arguably in the slower car.

It’s down to hundreds of thousands of them being released as young birds from pens. The only life they’ve known is in a pen so they have no traffic sense, life experience etc so you end up getting them all over roads and getting run over. They are extremely damaging to native wildlife and habitats so squash as many as you can or even better lobby gov. To ban they’re continued release

Like grey squirrels, rats are non-native so it is illegal to release them (ie if you have caught them in a live trap).

Furthermore rats will predate on birds nests and other smaller native rodents etc so they aren’t great to have around if you’re at all bothered by wildlife and even worse releasing them elsewhere. If you live trap one you can shoot it in the trap.

With summer spd shoes:

First tried sealskinz socks; which quickly became named sock sponges on account of absorbing water at an alarming rate as it ran down the leg. Cold wet and shite.

Then; overshoes; complete faff and don’t last long.

Finally;

Winter MTB spd shoes; Shimano MW81 goretex with reliable Velcro strap closures (no stupid lacing dials). Work great for about 2/3 -3/4 of the year if ‘tuned’ to suit the weather with different gauge socks. They are just starting to come apart after 7 years but only where the neoprene cuff joins the leather boot, so still okay for spring and autumn.

So just splashed out on Specialized defrosters which get great reviews but do look like something Gary glitter wore 😀
