Everything in 4K, fine by me.

Except Jimmy Carr’s face. Weirdly creepy, looks like something inside is trying to get out

    Samsung 40″ 4K with HDR?

Just got one, looks good. Tiny room so didn’t want anything bigger.

Mind you some of the available 4k content on Netflix just misses the point. Who needs Jimmy Carr in 4k FFS?

Well dressed dad for all your sartorial advice[/url], jeans especially. Uniqlo actually get a good review for their jeans though most of the content is for heavy/expensive stuff like Iron Horse.

+1 on BenQ BL3200PT. 2560 x 1440. Cost me about £400 a couple of years ago. GTX 760 4gb graphics card supporting it.

Same DPI as my previous 24″ HD screen so good for work use; more real estate but no tiny icons as you’d get on a 27″ at same resolution.

Fine for media watching, gets most use that way.

Can your laptop cope with that resolution though?

Reckon you’ll struggle on that budget.
One thing worth having is having the choice of running wired or Bluetooth for when the battery runs out. I’d recommend Sony MDR-ZX770BN but they are £90+

I suppose it’s just possible they could be healthcare staff looking to see if help needed – even I’ve done that and I’m no real use in those situations but could probably hold/lift/carry shit if needed (and I’m not squeamish, which might help). If there was obviously a shitload of emergency services already there then, yeah, just a bunch of sick ****

    I had a 24″ 1920 x 1080, nice but fancied a bigger one.
Looked at 27″ 2560 x 1440 but had to zoom in most of the time as stuff too small, had to sit closer.
Ended up with a 32″ 2560 x 1440 from Benq. Everything the same size (dpi) as the old 24″, just more screen to play with, weren’t cheap.

I’ve got the Sony ones you mention, happy with them. Cable or Bluetooth option is handy when charging forgotten and they don’t have the over-the-top boosted base so sound pretty accurate.

Mighty Power Bank 26,000mAh – 3 USB Ports from MyMemory. £22 delivered.

Got one recently and it kept 2 phones, 2 iphones and my tablet going over 4 days camping. Big and heavy though…

Check the weather. Camped just north-east of Dieppe at the end of May once. Weather was lovely and sunny but god it was cold. The locals were wearing gloves and scarves. We lasted 3 days of the week.

Sounds like the diffuser(?), bit that switches between water/heating operation, especially with small leak. Had the same on a Vaillant combi recently, professional help needed. Replaced crap plastic part with a metal one at part cost of £130 but whole system needed draining to do it.

    Hermes:

Card put through door saying ‘parcel left in porch’. No kidding! Door mat hovering 6″ off the ground and totally failing to hide parcel twice the size… Small terrace house with door 10 ft from pavement.

Email survey request 2 days later completed with much malice. Most questions were about ‘how was it…’ about all the things they didn’t offer like leave with neighbour, change date, etc.

Tracking details are unchanged since collection from seller 3 weeks ago.
