Yunki, yes that was me. I think i was having a well earned rest after getting lost around Lustleigh and Houndtor wood, followed by the road section that you were coasting down

Itheisinger – I have considered Nobbly Nics, they look good. I saw a chap out riding with his son whilst doing Stepping Stones last week, he had the, on his hardtail and they caught my eye.

Crispy – I’ve only really ridden east Dartmoor so far, the furthest west i’ve been is the Dartmeet ‘Stepping Stones’ loop.

Lovely area but i’ve no idea if there’s any local routes. It wouldn’t be too much of a drive to get to south Dartmoor, depending on holiday maker traffic obviously

I’m planning on a 25 mile eastern Dartmoor ride, my first ever ride on Dartmoor today was so good I’m going back for more.

Back to work on Wednesday though

I’ll be heading up Haldon for a couple hours on saturday to try and explore the ‘unofficial’ trails, maybe Woodbury on sunday if i get a couple hours free.

I’m trying to avoid doing anything where it will be too busy, living in the westcountry definitely has it’s down sides during holiday times.

I’m thinking of heading somewhere more exciting on monday or tuesday as i have the whole days free, i’m thinking Dartmoor, Exmoor, Cwmcarn or even Afan
