I’ve been thinking exactly the same thing recently, i wasn’t sure if people attempt things like the Nutcracker at night. Also, i’m not keen about going out alone.

I’ve bought 1 light from Smudge but am still yet to give it a try, and due to finances i couldn’t afford to get 2 lights so i’m having to wait until pay day in a couple weeks before getting another. I’m thinking of a torch for the helmet and the Smudge DX light for the bars.

I’m heading up to Lustleigh tomorrow or Tuesday, or both. It’ll be my 3rd time up there an I’m yet to go there without getting lost.

Where is best to park? I’ve tried the free carpark at North Bovey and down at Bovey Tracey. I was thinking of parking near Reddaford Water and Yarner Woods tomorrow

I have one, he’s 18 months old and he’s awesome.

He gets 1 walk a day, normally about 30 minutes to an hour plus regular bike rides and longer walks on days off.

He absolutely loves kids.

I owned a 172 for over 3 years and that website was very helpful as well as a great social site.

Not much i can say that hasn’t already been said but a standard 182 is quite undesireable, everyone wants the 182 with cup pack (factory upgraded suspension and wheels)

Cam belt is done every 72k or 5 years and as already said by others will cost a lot of money, around £1000 at a main dealers but slightly cheaper at a decent garage if you can find one.

There is no doubt that they are quick but be warned that they are NOT a Civic type R, Astra VXR, Leon Cupra slayer as some would have you believe.

The Twrch trail is good for about 1hour 15, I usually do it twice to make the most of it but I don’t think it’s worth it for a days riding

I’ve just checked out your post from yesterday, sorry i didn’t see it before.

I could always take you on the same guided ride i had from Yunki on tuesday? It did involve a fair bit of pushing up some of the technical trails such as the nutcracker. The Lustleigh area does naturally involve a lot of climbing so the pushing could be seen as a bit of a break i suppose.

I’m happy to meet up even if we all have no idea where we’re going, i’d also consider myself as a ‘reasonably experienced’ rider so we should be quite a well suited group.

It does tend to cost more for larger breeds as they use more anesthetic, i paid about £100 for my springer to be done about a year ago so surely it would be cheaper for a yorkie.

1830 at the Ley Arms then I reckon. Probably a couple of hours and about 15 miles, nothing too full on

I’m not tied to time at all, I was thinking of heading anytime between 4 and 6 is suppose. Maybe do the Ley Arms, Haldon, St Andrews lane route. I’m also up for Woodbury if anyone knows any good routes.

I’m also free tomorrow and was thinking of heading up to Dartmoor but if I don’t then I’ll be up for a similar ride tomorrow too as I have the whole day off.

I’m in the same position as you, I’ve found a few of the tracks that run off the pisted runs but I’ve never really been able to link them together and I feel like there are so many more out there that I’m still yet to find
