I play quite a bit but only really race online with my mate 1 on 1 as most people are right cock knockers and seem to think it’s demolition derby!

Add me if you like, i’m iBucho

Forza 3 is an amazing game, i spent many hours playing it over the last couple years. Yes Forza 4 is better but you don’t know that and like i said, Forza 3 is well worth your time.

It’s up to you really but i always like to play the games in order of release when i’m discovering a new series

@CrispyBacon, i was busy yesterday anyway but i didn’t even know about the ride. I changed my email address from neilbuckland@hotmail.com to bucko1983@hotmail.co.uk a few weeks back due to spam overload and forgot to tell you.

Cracking day for it, i was sat in a beer garden all afternoon

I swapped to 720mm bars and it helped with control and stability a lot.

I then swapped to a 60mm stem afterwards and i’m not entirely sure what, if any difference it has made, but then i am a bit rubbish. I may try a 50mm stem sometime.

    I’m 5ft 9 and ride a medium Zesty

Do you mean the Orange Patriot? I’ve never heard of the Persuit, or even a Pursuit.

In answer to the actual question…

I got mine for £42 at Tesco this morning with 2100 MSP. I think the offer was MW3 for £25 when you buy it with selected things like points or memberships.

I have no idea if the offer is the same with the Playstation

Absolutely gorgeous down here in Exeter, clear blue sky….and i’m working a 12 hour shift until 7pm. Gutted.

The view out of the window is lovely though

@singletracksurfer, did you get out today then? It’s not stopped raining in Exeter all day.

I won’t be able to make a ride tomorrow, I’ve just been advised that I won’t be home until 4am (it’s a mates 30th birthday tonight)

I’ve been gagging for a ride all week but I’ve been too busy. It was great last Saturday, I got back to the car just as it started raining, and we have had a lot of heavy rain all week.

I might be up for a hangover ride on Saturday if anyone is about?

My night shift boredom means i may have found a 2006/7ish Gore Alp X Gore Tex jacket for £90 but i don’t know much about the change in Gore Tex over the years.

Does anyone know how a 5 year old model would compare to a new model?

For anyone interested, we’re planning on meeting at 1100ish at Yarner Woods carpark for a Poole around Lustleigh Cleave with a tea stop at Hound Tor. Feel free to join us.

TM, I’d love a ride on Sunday too. I’ll somehow let you know for sure

Cheez0, we actually don’t have a plan. Lukes dog is poorly so he’s not 100% sure how long he can leave him tomorrow so we may just end up with a couple hours up on Haldon, definitely not worth driving down for.

Keep an eye on this thread, i’ll let you know what we decide

Just found this thread, amazing what you can find when you use the search function properly…

    http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/anyone-have-a-montane-dyno-jacket

Not sure it’s exactly what i’m looking for, i’d like something i can wear whatever the weather.

£50 is very tempting though, the cheapest i’d found it for was £75!

We did mention the Cleave but i’m unsure about the Nutcracker in the wet. Any suggestions on where is good in the wet?

Leon, Luke will be on his 100mm hardtail single speed so i’m sure you’d be fine with wherever we go

I think this can only be a positive situation, you might even find that the job isn’t for you.

I wish my employer could operate a system like this.

    Good luck mate

Don’t worry Woody, i still had a good ride up Haldon while the trails are still dry.

I can’t make it on thursday but have a good one without me (again)

No I’ll be sleeping all day Sunday between night shifts. I was planning on getting out on Saturday though, and I have the following weekend off with no plans yet

I’ve also got the next 2 days off so it’s not all bad working shifts ;)

I got there at 1305 and you were gone, i had a really busy morning but it was worth a try. I was tempted by a solo ride up at Lustleigh Cleave but ended up just spending 90 minutes up Haldon on the way back to Exeter.

I hope you guys had a good ride, I’ll try and be on time for the next one

    @audiophile

My headset is flat and I can’t find the charger, and I can’t be bother texting on an Xbox controller. What’s the car club? [STW] is already taken, unless that’s you?

I’ve played every game in the series and have been looking forward to this for a while. Forza 4 landed on my door step on friday morning but due to work i’ve only managed to play it for about an hour and most of that was downloading codes and installing add-ons.

I’m nothing special at it but i would love to compare my lap times with people throughout the game, my gamertag is iBucho if anyone wants to add me.

Sorry to hear the sad news.

Have you tried your vets? They may know of local breeders or customers that have litters.

I found my Springer from an advert in a local newspaper, the Western Morning News, i went to view a few litters from adverts and was more than happy with the dog i chose.

    Good luck

The Quantocks and Exmoor are very close to Minehead, I’m sure lots of people will be able to pass on some GPS routes but an Ordanance Survey map would be good enough if it came down to it.

    Enjoy

I’ll probably head out to my local trails on Haldon on Saturday and a ride on Dartmoor, maybe Lustleigh on sunday or Monday. Got to make the most of the trails while they’re still dry

I use a Neoguard and a 10 year old crudcatcher under the downtube. Keeps me happy enough but i’ve never tried anything else.

I’m not scared of getting a bit muddy, i just like to see where i’m going

Just ordered this, thanks for the link stevemorg2: http://www.cnqualitygoods.com/goods.php?id=1060

Can someone now point me in the direction of the correct joystick helmet mount, or any other recommended good helmet mount, cheers.

@stevemorg2 – What lumen is that torch and what is the run time like? Also, please forgive my lack of knowledge, what is the difference between XPG and XML?

@Del – I think you’re right, i can use my current light as a helmet light by itself just to see me through until i get a torch. Hope you’re ok by the way, i heard you’re off the bike for a few months?

Yes. In the same month i bought an Audi A4 for £2k and a Lapierre Zesty for £2.3k

Thanks mate, ill consider it if i can’t find any similar UK dispatched torches.

    No other recommendations then anyone?

I’ll be having a really thorough trawl of the Internet tonight as I really want to order one tomorrow morning
