If a fine or a driving ban isn't much of a punishment for the rich and famous how about a beating with a stick – or is that just wrong 😈

I've got a 1TB WD My Book and have had no problems with it. Don't bother going for the so called mac specific one.

When I asked about the delay in processing a couple of weeks ago I received this reply:

"Please note, due to the high volume of orders customers that have chosen priority dispatch will be served first, your order was placed in a queue . Sorry for the inconvenience."

This may explain the delay if you've chosen the free delivery. I didn't have a problem with this but I was expecting same day processing.

We've added our spam filter as both the lowest and highest preference on the MX with our ISP as failover in the middle. The theory being spammers assume the lowest preference is the unprotected one and target it. Not been able to prove this as our spam volumes vary greatly from one day to another but it doesn't cause any (more) harm.

Although not related to your DNS problem, why does the external mail server have a higher (number) preference than the other one which I assume is your internal one. Is the internal one only accepting connections from the external spam filtered one? Have I missed something?

I thought my chest pains were due to stress and was surprised after going to see the doctor to get referred to a consultant. The pains have gone down a bit after a rest from work for a few days but I'm still getting twinges. In my case the waiting for an appointment didn't help the already stressful situation.

I've got my treadmill test on Thursday which will be the first bit of exercise I've done since early December.

    Hope your tests go well

I'd expect the left routing to cause problems when you turn to the right with the cable not having anywhere to buldge out to. You may get excessive cable rub. Only thoughts though as no idea really

I had trouble finding a bike to fit because I'm a short ar5e. I was interested in a Meta 5.5 but my local dealers didn't have a small in and wouldn't get one in unless I'd buy it – which I wouldn't without a test ride. I contacted the UK distributor for a standover height and was told that I'm the same height as Rachel Atherton so I'd be OK (but they still couldn't provide a standover height). That made the decision easier for me so I arranged to test an Orange and bought one 😀

I suppose the ideal is to find a dealer that sells all the bikes you want to test that way you should/ may get charged only one test fee. For me a demo was important so may be 8/10.

I was skeptical about exercising my arm after a problem with my rotator cuff at the start of last year as if just seemed to hurt more, but I followed the physio's instructions and used the Therra-band stuff. After a few months the full movement was back in my arm, although I do tend to be more cautious now when over reaching.

I hardly slept when I had stress as much as I tried to put work to one side I couldn't. It didn't help that my boss doesn't believe stress exists.

I've found doctors vary with what they will do about stress. The first one I saw signed me off work for two weeks, doctors I've seen after that haven't been much help.

I've used some from biketart today. I can't say how it wears yet but it was easy to apply – although you'll need to carefully check and recheck which is the "right" side before cutting shapes 😳

It wasn't an apology but an act of tv career protection by his PR company. I don't think this feeble overdue apology should let him off the hook.

I've never got the slider to work at home, but I knew there were good reasons for an £8k line at work. Amazing result it's a shame there isn't more/some recognition on tv/radio.
