I think that will do the trick along with the some tape as sharkbait suggests. It’s cheap too!

    Thanks

The cable will be armoured buried and bought off the spool. My thinking behind the connectors was to allow me to fit (and replace if it gets damaged)the cable between the two buildings. I can drill holes but I’ve never drilled all the way through a wall and had to leave a nice square hole in plasterboard and OSB for the RJ45 socket so I want someone else to do this bit.

Yes that sort of thing although I’d need to put it in a box to keep the moisture out

Unless you’re expecting to hit traffic or drafting why not keep your eyes shut, or are there big spiders in your garage!

Are your grinds clumping, that would cause the water to come through much quicker even if the other factors are constant?

Avoid short stays if you can afford to as your guests will treat your property like a B&B and you’ll get through bedding, towels etc much quicker (due to washing). Be prepared for your instructions for things such as heating (which they will have set to max / 24hrs), stove and cooker to be ignored.

Why the need to show out of focus library clips of a classroom for educational stories, or in focus shots of shoes in a corridor? We all know what a school is like and a fuzzy clip doesn’t help!

Had a problem answering calls on a Nexus 5 and the issue was traced to the screen protector I’d put on. Removed it and it works ok. May not solve your problem though!

I wonder what the pension and long service package are like.

unlikely to be offered with death-in-service!

Used it several times over the last 10 years and they only cocked up once (delivered post for the first day). Now use it every time we go away for more than a couple of days. You may not get your held post back on the next/first delivery day it could be the day after.

You can often choose the spec of your car (they are buying it new after all) so I think you can spec a towbar as you would leather or whatever else.

This is what I did. The garage that supplied the lease car also provided an additional number plate FOC which avoided me having to provide vehicle docs etc.

Cafe Arriba is worth a visit – it overlooks the harbour on one side 🙂

EDIT: I’ve been told to mention Skye Batiks if they like clothes shopping, they’ll probably get a free coffee there too.

A 250g bag of good roasted beans costs around £5.00. I use 18g for a double espresso so that’s 36p

I really like my Chemex but you may want to take a look at the Eva Solo It’s over your budget but insulated and from what I’ve read closer to a cafetiere

Great thanks for the advice, I’m going to order one and see how it goes. For the majority of the time it will be for just one bike so hopefully it should be straight forward!

I hadn’t thought about the wheels :-). I was thinking about the frame attachments as there appears to be limited places / room on a small frame. The bottom of the downtube below the shock mount looks to be the best place if it would work and be stable.

I have a subscription with http://www.jamesgourmetcoffee.com but also buy Has Bean from a local cafe. Both are very good. Buying freshly roasted is something you can’t do at a supermarket. If you’re not careful it will become an addiction 😀

Can't see a good reason to. Not stirring means grounds not properly wet means poor cuppa.

I must admit I do stir and leave for around a minute. Even if you don't invert, putting the plunger in after a stir means it doesn't start to drip through too quickly. Each to their own I suppose, I like the idea of trying different methods though

    Here are some more.

You may want to try the Aeropress with the inverted method > see here
