No it wasn’t; they were obviously just slower riding. Last year however there was a long traverse on a cat track that was virtually unrideable. Not really sure what your point is.
Continuing on the Mega theme, there were a few bits in the quali and race where folk feel the need to stand about at the top of sections totally messing it up for everyone else. It’s highly frustarting and at times fairly dangerous.
My bedroom wall was coated in photos of JMC and Co cut out of MBUK; ah those were the days. He was very inspirational and made me get out riding a lot back then.
It’s not our own language it’s US federal law. While I’d conceed that most people are not going to be familiar with US law, that doesn’t make it jargon or some sort of secret code.

Awhiles, currently pretty much exactly twice the onshore cost. In relation to your comments about the 400MW power station, the offshore standard is about 3.6MW, with up to 10MW in development, so I take your point, but things have moved beyond the 1MW per turbine.
I had one for a weekend test and it was ‘orrible. Despite the power and apparent sportyness it did nothing for me. It had an auto box (don’t know if this is standard) that felt ten years out of date, and the chassis felt slack and wallowy. The interior was along the lines of a Merc car, but not quite, and just felt a bit cheap.
I had a Transporter Sportline for a different weekend, and it was in another leauge.
It’s about 15 years since my mates and I used to bugger about with video cameras, and after some intial interest the headcam craze seems to have passed me by; but watching that really made me want to go and mess about with a camera and editing suite. Also intesresting to see most of them seem to use DSLRs (on that Shetland video last week as well).
As others have said, implementing any sort of change is often challenging. I’m not one for too much management bo11ocks, but the change curve below (there are various versions all on the same theme) is quite apt I reckon.
The street running was devalued by the ridiculous plot o though, which was a shame because those guys are unreal. Danny McRadical on the cable; fair bloody play!
The constant swiping and whinging about downhilling/armour/stormtroopers/gnar/overbiked/etc; it’s daft and makes the people that peddle it look daft.
Wherever and whatever people do with their time on whichever bike(s) they have, it’s better than festering in front of the telly, or doing laps of a shopping centre. I’m not sure why people can’t let others get on with it.
I would add that I drove back to Manc this afternoon from the Midlands, and passed about 40 Tactical Aid Unit vans heading south. The car/van park in the GMP TAU place accross the road from my office is empty.
Hopefully a baying mob will break in to the STW offices and as well as making off with a batch of All-Mountain-Enduro(Euro)-Trail-Mini-DH-29er forks from next months group test, will also take the server and we all be relieved of the drivel spouted by Hora and Co on the big thread.
