Oh and another time I fell of a ladder while climbing up from a dingy when the tide was low and just before I hit the water tried to grab the ladder but managed to drag hand through barnacles shredding my hand.

Got woken up in the middle of the night with my mates mother screeming at me as I was pishing against the wall in her bedroom. Or tried to get into the wardrobe in another one of my mates parents room then tried to get into bed with them and after that went and pished on the electric fire which wasn’t noticed till the fire was turned on a few days later and they got the hot aroma of pish.

My mate put his bike upside down and it **** up his fox forks. Something to do with wee bits of plastic swarth blocking valves.

I think everyone is a bit to touchy these days, I like a bit of crack with our neighbours over the border but can’t see it ever getting out of hand. Where I live on an island of the west coast of Scotland which has a very high number of white settlers and if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be so busy at work. In fact I am just going for a pint with one of my English mates where I will probably bump into one of my Irish mates. I’m sure there is a joke there.

I got a Canondale CAAD 8 on CTW last year it cost £950. It has tiagra FSA concept components. It has seen the winter with no problems. I don’t think you can add any money to upgrade.

Probably a baw hair under 18 minutes, never tried but 4 miles takes me 23:47 and that’s with a couple of big hills thrown in. Today it would probably take me an hour health not good.

I go to Turkey every year to stay with friends and its full of Russians. You can spot them a mile of, they are usually wearing thongs, men and women. They are very rude and cheap and not very well liked by the locals. I heard a story about some women going into a shop and picking up fags and walking out the door. When they were caught they said they were all inclusive and they thought this ment it covered all the shops as well as hotel bar.

I think if sidi had the same boa closure as specialized they would be the best fitting shoes you could get.

I will second that. I have Sidi Dragon 3 and appart from being most comfortable they feel like your heel is glued in place.

I am on my 4th bike from cycle to work, a Cube, Specialized, Focus and Canodale . I work for Strathclyde Fire and Rescue who do it through Halfords and I have never had a Halfords bike. They can get pretty much any bike you want, I think they use Leasure Lakes , Alpine bikes and a few others so they never get their grubby little paws on them. They don’t cost anymore through Halford than buying them direct.

My wee guy is 5 in 2 months and he is on a 20″ Hotrock but he is tall for his age. A 20″ might not last a 7 year old very long.

I have Specialized,Shimano and Sidi and find them all pretty much indestructible. The Specialized are pro something I can’t remember exact model but they are about 10 years old and still fine. The Shimano were also top end at the time only 8 years old and also in good order. The Sidi are Dragon 3s and not a year old but 2 previous pairs lasted for years, one of which I ripped on a barbed wire fence and the others are retired in the shed .

I would strongly expect not to be able to ride a bike for a few days if the wife caught me at that.

I had an GA for the snip, came round first thing I did was lift the covers to have a look. They took me to recovery and I walked out the door 40 minutes later feeling fine. I did have a conversation on the ferry on the way home and don’t remember a word of it.

Not ridden 29er epic but I find the brain shock works well. It would probably be working better if I got my finger out and serviced it.
