Charity donation and some more together time it is then.  Thanks for the replies.  I think I will still ask for some warm socks though, I nearly froze my toes off last week.

Thanks, those Decathlon ones looks very reasonable and a really simple solution. I also hadn’t thought of s simple hook from Screwfix. Once the shed’s up I’ll start experimenting. Cheers

£20 would be reasonable and they look pretty good but £75 on the site now is a bit steep.

I’d guess that they don’t plan and this is a plant and run post.

Plant and run, hmm that’s a new one on me.

They are 21 and invincible, listen to no-one, especially not parents. I was looking for (and got, thank you poly, Dave and Scotroutes) evidence that this would be a bad idea.

They are also inteligent, fairly responsible and most likely to do the right thing if they think they have made the decision and not been “Told” what to do.

As for Plan, I believe they intended on sleeping in the car but that’s about as far as it got.

He’s taking orders now. £400 deposit.

“The guide price is £2200 for a frame with no shock, or £2400 including a DVO Topaz T3 Air.”

That’s an expensive frame but he appears to be throwing the shock in at half price.

Pricier than Stanton, I’m not sure he’ll sell many.

So post about something you do like OP. Air rifle shooting is fun and you won’t know until you try it. If you don’t want to then don’t but please, don’t be a hater.

I bought one a couple of years back (actually 7 now I come to think about it) to recapture my youth as I had a .177 BSA Meteor as a lad. I went for a Weirauch HW 95 and Nikko Stirling scope. I researched on line and then bought from a local shop. My son, then 14, got as much pleasure out of it as me. It now spends most of its time in the bedroom wardrobe but comes out now and again and I love it every time.

My son was 21 last October, he asked for a watch, we set a budget and let him choose. He went for a Tag and he loves it.

but I’m sure that’s not what the OP is talking about

If it is I’m not voting 😀

Ere! bruceonabike! Are you talking streaming services?? or wot?

As most have deduced I was of course talking about Apple’s streaming service, these days called Apple Music but still often refered to by many as iTunes. Sorry for the confusion, I’m obviously an old duffer!

Thanks for the many responses, this has now confirmed what I suspected and I will be making the switch to Spotify, then I’ll be able to sync my Garmin Fenix 5 instead of manually copying across individual tracks.

Sub 25 is quick, that’ll put you comfortably in the front third at any Parkrun. Plenty of people who’ve been running for years can’t get under 25 mins. Sounds like you’re well and truly off the couch.
How old are you Paul, if you don’t mind me asking.

If you own more than one bike one must be a singlespeed, none should be a fixie.

I rode this as a fixie for a while, it was hard work though, especially downhill and over anything remotely technical. I’ve switched it back to a freehub now though.

I don’t know the El Mar, is it steel? If so go for it. I’ve run an Inbred, A Sherpa and a Stooge all rigid and they were all ace.

I do love that bike and the black/gold colour scheme. Always rather fancied one but have been put off by the weight. Are they a classic example of riding lighter than the numbers suggest?

    I’ll let you know
