Thanks richpenny that may be useful but anything my company did would need to be implemented at a national level for about 5000 employees so going though cycle scheme or halfords may be our best option.

Do you have to use Halfrauds or Evans? or can you use a LBS that partakes in C2W.

Joxster it depends on the employer most dont have time to administer such a scheme so they will go with someone else to do it for them. Wiggle will run it as do evans and halfords there is one that does it for lbs’s called cycle scheme which is the one im trying to get my employer to sign up to at the moment.

Halfords will use there insurance devision to source almost any bike you want they have accounts with pretty much everyone. I think carbon is a bit far go with the SS but if you want a custom build i would probably go with evans.

Is that a 29 rear, 26 front combo??

Nope it was pre the 29er thing and the name was purely in line with coves naming scheme.

Yep limited edition silverfish specced up a standard stiffee with full race face deus kit and hope minis with custom wording on the rotors. A friend of mine had one spent his student loan on it.

Okay how about this one….

Bike storage as well

Isnt that the point though if it has to do duel duty as bike/canoe/whatever storage then it cant be exactly plush after all you would have to clean it out. But its expensive and if you look at the size of it its still not exactly small. If only there was european company making something simlar. I quite like the TAB/T@B range but they lack the practicality aspect for me.

I would say go round and say your going to replace the fence and give your reasons about the dog etc and say you understand things are tight and understand they cant afford 50% but if they could contribute a little it would be appreciated.

No theyre not they vary between both bikes and manufacturer but generally if you get one for an adults mountain bike it will be big enough for most things.

God i used to sell electric bikes many moons ago.

Things to consider when buying an electric bike-
Do you want it to be Electrically assisted or do you want it to run without peddling?
How heavy? You will have the option of Lead Acid batteries (heavy and short range but cheap) or Lithium ion (lighter with better range but expensive)

Ultra Motors A2B is an interesting new one its Lithium ion with a 20 mile range however a second battery pack can be added to bring it up to 40 miles. This launched in the UK last week.
UltraMotor

Probably not as of interest to you mum is this brand new speedy number really meant as halfway between a bike and a motorcycle. Elmoto

Vigilance does no harm, i remember helping my parents check under there cars in the 90s, but that was the sort of threat you could be vigilant for and the posters identifying what a suspect device looked liked helped. However with this new type of terrorism things are a lot less clear and im not sure these posters are any help but then what is? how would you defend against someone determined to die for his cause? And its no use denying it there is a threat just look at what happened on the london underground and at glasgow airport.

Im not saying these posters are the solution, but they cant hurt.

Leatherman are definitely better quality ive had both gerber and leatherman and its the leatherman that still gets used everyday whereas whats left of the gerber was consigned to the bin long ago. My Dad is still using the one he got of an american soldier 20 years ago.

Keep it simple, this leatherman would be ideal Leatherman Core

Melbourne is quite a tight track. I reckon kers will come into its own on tracks with more longer straights so they can take advantage of it.

Volvo 240 still a good deal of them about, go on forever and i think there a future classic.

Not mine i hasten to add, big robust engines that will take big simple turbo charging or there are conversion kits that will allow you to sling a small block v8 in.

More GM mismanagement.

Heres the latest: saab files for bankruptcy

And: GM Having there cake and eating it

So basically they are separating the company allowing it to sink or swim on its own but still want to take advantage of its innovative technology. Even if someone does want to buy the company they will be saddled with a completely biased tech sharing agreement.

The administrators, by the time they get round to you if the bill is big enough you might be able to negotiate to keep the car in leiu of payment.
