Okay not ground breaking innovation but how refreshing is it for pace to actually be bringing out new products rather than the vapor wear we were all used to years ago. How long were we promised a full suspension frame for?

Ive been running schwalbe tubes for the past 2 years and if the tyres are even half the quality then id say they would be well worth the money.

Brother-Will, just off the top of my head, I can’t help thinking I saw some taperlock cups on CRC the other day. Have you looked there?

Yes they do thanks onzadog, shame theyve only got drive side non drive side could do with replacing as well.

Well im still on a race face taperlock from years ago but ive finally shagged the drive side cup on it so im currently looking for a suitable replacement because i cant find any replacement cups which is a shame as it would still be going if it wasnt for my ham fisted mechanics. The middleburn cranks hanging off it are still going as strong as ever.

990 and 980 both have an alloy carrier though don’t they?

Yes the 980 covers the back 3 rings with a black alloy spider, the 990s spider covers the back 5 rings.

Simply take it to the home delivery desk, most deliveries within a week but usually within a couple of days.

Its one of those guilty pleasures movies, so bad its good. I certainly wont lose any sleep over it being re-made though.

How about a room within a room? Obviously depends on space but a wood frame with clear plastic sheeting should keep the moisture out while being a cheaper alternative to tanking? There would be an air gap of course to allow the walls space the breathe.

Depends on the version, my sport has a steel base and barrel the twin head design is low tech but works well and reliably. Certainly never lose the yellow one in the cupboard lol.

At the end of the day this is a Thule “budget” wheel supported towbar rack it does not have the most finished construction or the most trick features but where it excels is in 2 areas, one keeping the bike very securely on the rack and two keeping the rack securely attached to the car. I sold these for years and never had a failed one i even bought one for my parents which is still in use. If you want to spend more and have some easier fittings or better materials there is a slew of other racks available from thule as well.

You can get plus gas from halfords in the auto lubes etc section careful which one you pick up though as its not unusual for the staff from the bike department to take some use it on a bike then put it back. At least it was when i was there lol.

I used to use a couple of nylon straps over the top of some beams in my parents garage, one round the stem and one round the saddle. Hight adjustable and you could work on it from both side but it did swing from side to side a bit.

Well i can see the need for living in london and living in your constituency (if its far enough away from london) I can see the need for travel between the 2 or for official functions. But the clothes the food and all the other stuff i really dont see the need for. Infact im pretty sure there is an empty army barracks in london that would be suitable for turning into mps apartments. If your only there 4 nights a week so im sure it doesnt need to be the lap of luxury. Okay so that London accommodation handled, now you can pay for your house in your constituency out of your wages (After all that is where you live right?). Now transport well we have a perfectly good public transport system dont we? So free train bus and underground travel for all MPs want to use a car fine do it out of your wages unless its for official engagements.

Why not erect a deck which is supported in your yard but cantilevers over the neighbors property by a few feet. That may be a bit drastic in retrospect as it would have to be some height indeed to clear the trellis the neighbor is erecting, alternatively you could erect a deck on the boundary that raises your property height enough for the poles or whirly gig to clear the neighbors trellis.

Well even being an apple fan boy myself i would consider an android phone if the choice of hardware wasnt so piss poor. Im waiting for the new version of the iphone myself i held off on the first one because it was still a little flawed then i went over to a samsung because i believed new 3g version was still a good year away and got my estimate wrong by 6 months now my samsung contract ends within a month of the new version of the iphone and i cant wait.

Cheers v10, will have to wait on this cycle scheme first though. When it does it will either be the unit or a charge duster ss (i suspect you’ve probably got a hotlines account).

    Brother_Will

Good to know about the unit i was thinking of using cycle scheme with you when if i can convince my employer into using it instead of wheelies or halfords and really wanted a quick ride on one (even if it was just around the showroom). Strangely enough the argument im using with my employer is with a physical shop you can see before you buy unlike wheelies lol.

And nope just spotted the ad when i looked at your profile, i will mail you about them now though.

Rutland Cycles is showing they have a unit 2-9 in stock on there website maybe you could convince them to have a little spin on it.

Ps. Have you still got those x.9 shifters you had advertised?

    Brother_Will

Well we had a webber charcoal for years and it was solid and reliable, then we got a cheap gas one that lasted about a year but was much simpler to keep clean etc, so when that went we got an outback and its still going strong 4 years later.

Well aw my last one was a diy converted fire mountain so i get what you mean about having fun it used to handle great, certainly not going to plump for a 29er without having at least ridden one first though.

A slating? really? cant really see too much of an issue with it the saddle and bars arent to my tastes though.

    Brother_Will

It does but i dont see a full bike ‘off the peg’ on there site which could be an issue.

Well theres something to be said for the event horizon i mean apart from the fact its pure evil its got a drive that opens a frickin black hole and one cool lifeboat system.

The Serenity from Firefly has got a fond place in my heart for pure industrialism and general Shonkiness.

Well i got an EBC one and although ive not used it much yet i will be honest it seems okay the build quality isnt the best in the world but it seems well screwed together. It will do for a while and as its my first trailer it will do for the odd sunday taking stuff up to my parents and my c2c later in the year. If i like it and start getting into epic rides then yes i think it will be worth upgrading.
