    I miss my SS :(

97 Kona Fire Mountain with P2 forks, TI quill stem and Forge Singaltor. I really do wish i never sold it. I used to ride it equally 50:50 with my geared bike though the year but would go though periods of using one more than the other.

Citalopram kind of evened me out and helped with sleep but i felt listless and board, most days seemed to feel like i was just going though the motions at the the time my GP also recommended exercise although i didnt feel the drive for it.

Far more GPs now have the option to prescribe exercise properly and there are schemes in different parts of the country where the nhs will pay for gym memberships etc. Clicky Of course in the short term you could just get out on your bike more.

Id second the G11 ive got a DSLR and despite its excellent picture quality im far less likely to take it out for a ride with me than i would have done my old G5, Ive found the the DSLR far to bulky to be convenient for me.

You could always hang on for the new hope race brake:

This is a pre production image of the NEW Race X2 brake. Final versions will have a carbon lever and top cap, aluminium bolts in the lever, aluminium pad pina dn pad back plate – as well as the usual Ti bolts elsewhere. All in weight is an impressive 275g (including mounts, bolts and rotor)

It was so bad for our neighbor when we lived in wiltshire he actually dug up his entire lawn, layed chicken wire about 6" down then recovered and turfed the lot. It was obsessively maintained you would be hard pushed to find flatter on a bowling green, complete and utter nutter lol.

You need to check your level of cytech as i knew it a few years ago the lower levels were little more than multiple choice tick tests. There is also BTEC which you can do through a few places including the bike inn, this is the course i did and is quite intensive but didn't cover hydraulic disc brakes or suspension forks but does go into detail on wheel building and other essentials.

I think thats cool and bet it cost you less than buying a new one which makes sense considering how long it will be used for

I suppose what you need to learn from YETIboyJAY's example is to get prototypes made up here in the UK first before entering a full production run. I've never done it so i cant comment but it something ive always thought about and i suppose the hardest thing will be defining yourself from the other niche frame companies.

Its still an emerging technology right now but looks promising e-ink is easy to read and consumes very little power but the readers are still expensive with little choice. But the over the next few years we will see new players like plastic logic entering the market and innovations with e-ink tech like color displays.

Gotta have balls of steel for that, some serious skill on display especially when you consider how complicated it is to fly a helicopter.

One of the lorry companies was working on a radar system a while back that would allow lorries to form large 'trains' the front lorry would guide the ones behind and keep all the lorries in the 'train' a constant distance from each other.

I think these are mostly OE so you might have trouble finding them separately so you may have to up your spec to the xm317 which is far more readily available.

Ex Halfords Employee here, as far as i know halfords has no official training which includes wheel building. I undertook a trial course in my time there which was excellent but after assessment was abandoned on cost grounds.
