I have had a resolve dropper post for about a year now and have had the exact same experience as you. Rebuilt it when new because of the squish and then still had issues but this turned out to be the fact I store the bike vertically that caused issues. But the post not always fully returning is a hassle and particularly as it’s an intermittent fault is somehow more annoying. The post is beautifully made and the customer service from Wolftooth has being exceptional but it’s still not as reliable as my old brand x post that cost a quarter of the price
Could you explain what IP has been stolen? They certainly look like trickstuff but I don’t believe there’s anyway to patent lice ce the appearance of a product but dohave there own patents and are distrubted in western countries unlike true knockoffs which are sold direct from China. If there was any IP theft trickstuff which were bought by dt Swiss for something like 200m would be more than able to defend themselves. I’m also pretty sure the distributors would be on the hook for that.
I might have to get the Vault mags to match my old v12 mags. Also, silver grey cranks seem genius saves you the trouble of spending a year making them look that way it’s basically the equivalent of buy buying factory aged denim
It would probably be easier and certainly quicker to just go and collect it from Germany. I did this buying a frame in the UK to bring to Ireland it’s a bureaucratic nightmare. It’s not about getting around taxes but what is the correct rate depending on what components are made where.
