Maybe do some of the more esoteric descents.

Hmm anything like last time (Tod ride) down the front of the pike, then the sheep trail, some of us are mortal beings especially me :-)

Thanks Bregante, WW’s been in touch by email and advised, I just remembered seeing ADT last night. Someone coming tomorrow with more cameras than the BBC and alarms louder than a hope freewheel

I really should check the dates of these events and what todays date is, its very quiet in Ramsbottom around 8-45, anyhow as much as I would like to support MNPR on the 11th I am doing another charity bike ride pre booked. I have left a donation on WW’s just giving page and if Binners has any prints left over (doubtful I know) I would gladly take one off his hands for another donation.

Sat here this afternoon on my day off, feet itching, couldn’t wait until 8-15, so I’ve gone out in the sunshine around the pike, just got back.
If I had the youth of Dazh and the stamina of Terrahawk I’d do the MNPR as well, but I haven’t so see you next week, unless the sun shines again.

Sailing island to Island where ever the wind blows best, we have to replenish vital supplies beer crisps and so forth ( not too dissimilar to the MNPR really) we get sporadic internet so try too keep up to date. Looks like I missed another Exocet fuelled ride last week, hope WW is feeling a little less despondent after his break in. Nice artwork from Binners again, hope the sun shines later for you all.

A good ride last night glad I made the effort even met Hora even though he pretended to be someone else in the car park. Hope the casualties are feeling better this morning. Nightmares last night I seem to have distant recall of stupidly offering to do a 24hr event with team Binners.

Bregante not sure but was it the spline on your cranks that was the problem. I have a newish XT double with 24 38 rings if any good to keep you mobile until your spares arrive. You could put your existing rings on if cranks suitable.

Looking forward to a nice and slow bimble round the woods.

Bimble obviously means something different out of Yorkshire the way we were out of the gate at the church like Exocet missiles The absentee list that were obviously in the know only confirms this.
This was a top ride thanks to our guide once more.

I doth my cap to fearless 3 8) after a soaking walking the dogs I couldn’t face another one in the forecasted deluge not even for Black Wytch. If any of you need to make up for last night the Halifax sailing club MTB challenge is on this coming Sunday which I’ll be marking out on Saturday and sweeping up on Sunday all welcome plenty of cakes. The forecast looks good.

I recently turned 60 and had to have 3 months of following an operation been back riding for 6 weeks but can’t seem to get back to the fitness I had like a lot of others I can do distance but only steady. At 57 I’d have been up at the front on the steep hills but now resigned to being middle to back.

I assume if a mate turned them they are bushes, a good place to look is bearingboys the have a great stock of off the shelf bushes if you know the diameters required. I’ve used these and Igus for my replacements on the Cotic
