Totally disagree the conditions would have warranted temp. Closure to avoid further damage.
For some reason certain sections do not drain well and give a spongy effect causing rapid wear.

Yes when I saw the van it was too late, my speed was reduced when I passed it (with a few choice mumbled words)
But like I have posted earlier the location stated is some 750m west and in a field.

I don’t deny the speeding just the location.
Where they state the location of the offence took place my speed had been reduced due to he fact I had passed the camera van some 750m down the road.

No not dual carriageway.
The location on the NIP is incorrect, when checked it comes up in a field.
The actual is about 750m away.

They basically use the photo from your passport and this arrives within a couple of days.

just would like to know why/how this kind of driving could/would be considered approrpiate so I know what to expect and do the next time I find myself with a big, heavy Volvo patrol car on my bumper at 70mph and wanting to get past? Or to put it another way, a question for you – would you be happy to have said patrol car sat on your buumper in heavy, high speed traffic where a mistake or twitchiness on the part any one of the drivers, experienced or otherwise, could have potentially serious consequences?
