My kids (5 & 7) love Mario Wonders, proper belly laughing from the 5 year old.

I’ve got Zelda TOTK, I don’t get much time to play but it is very good. WRC was only £5 but is very hard. And I downloaded Doom for a couple of quid.

After seeing the abuse the Milwaukee stuff gets at work and doesn’t bat an eyelid that was my go to when needing a new combi drill recently.

The original chainring won’t be a N/W and it may be worn anyways.

You don’t see anywhere near as many cars broken down on the side of the road as 20 years ago. Take a look on Autotrader at the mileage on some cars. The German cars seem to wear their miles well.

Our 7 year old (8 in September) is regularly still awake at 9:30, and that’s with being in bed at 8:00.

The just turned 5y.o goes to bed at the same time, and will state he’s staying awake and promptly flake out within minutes.

At some point the eldest will be allowed to stay up a little later but the little brother isn’t going to be happy about it…

The Wolf mower that came with the house has finally rotted through. It had a few running repairs over the years but the deck is past saving, and I don’t mind a challenge.

I picked up a Husqvarna from Facebook in very good condition for £200. I’m definitely getting old as I feel I shouldn’t find a mower this impressive ?

Think it was 3 quid for a bag of chips the other day in Cockermouth.

The chippy used to be the cheap takeaway compared to pizza or Chinese but it’s not so different these days.

I’m up at 4:35 when I’m on day shift, 2 days, then 2 nights. I swapped the nights for days once. 4 X 4:35am starts and I felt shattered. At least with the normal shift pattern I have rest after the earlys.
