Pretty f’ed up that its got so many peoples panties in a twist n someone had to die for their inability to ignore it.

It wouldn’t be quite so bad if the rampaging hordes had all watched it, but the majority of them are rent-a-mob types who just look for any excuse to riot. There were syndicated interviews on the news earlier where they were asking people taking part in the demos whether they had seen it ‘Err…well no, but we’ve heard from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend’s dentist’s golfing partner’s receptionist’s brother-in-law that it offends the prophet’ etc etc

It reminds me of Brass Eye, only without the humour.

    Isn’t snack size, now funsize?

Funsize (or ‘mini’) are eeny-meeny, snack was over twice as big, but still significantly smaller than the regular size one.

If you buy a Duo it’s two snack size ones in one packet…the question is, can you manage to eat 1 and save the second one for another time?

    I know I can’t!

Average age of a Radio 1 listener is 32 apparently (you’ve got Google, look it up).

I’m 32, but haven’t really listened to it for 10 years. 6 Music for me and a mix of Radio 4/5Live for the car.

I haven’t exactly been overjoyed by the current government, but if I ever doubt my decision to vote Conservative I have only to read the deranged ramblings of an oxygen thief like monkeycmonkeydo.

That’s what my right arm looked like when my parents first got one of those AOL dial-up discs in about 1997.

Unfortunately, they found out about the ‘history’ function before I did 😳

Thanks to a multibuy offer I now have 3 types of Balhsen Choco Leibniz in the cupboard

If I was in your position I’d be envious of anybody who’d bought three packs of plain instead.

Can’t access Facebook in the office, but am down that way with work a couple of times per month…what was the food like? Price per head etc?

Weymouth always seems a bit bereft of good restaurants, so will give this place a try.

Cyclists are utter scum, they really are.

There seem to be quite a few of them on this 4×4 consumer review forum for some reason though.

You can be in a BMW X6 rolling on chrome 22inch rims, with the latest Chris Brown abomination blasting out of your stereo, vanity plate and some jizz receptacle from TOWIE in the passenger seat for all I care…just as long as you don’t jump out on me at roundabouts.

I rode to Waitrose earlier and some of the kerbs there are pretty ferocious. I don’t want you worrying though, thanks to my Pike 454 coil U-Turns set to the full 140mm I got home safely.

+1 Fox – They’ve never let me down, additionally there seem to be absolutely stacks of dealers so you can nearly always find one with what you want at a good price.

Imagine if the people who designed Milton Keynes had had 500 times the budget, built a city in the desert, populated it with the worst pricks in Clapham and then imposed the drinking regulations of upstate Utah.

    Enjoy your trip!

I can only speak for Probation, but we were forever being messed about under Labour (and nothing has changed). It doesn’t matter who you vote for, the Government always gets in!

This will be fun in Dorset, we’ve already got the biggest gap between average salary and average house price in the UK.

Not sure how this will impact upon my colleagues in the NHS, but Local Authorities have been pissing about with professionals who lack a national pay deal for years.

Dorset County Council have been starting their social workers on 5K less than Bournemouth and Poole Borough Councils’ social workers for years…upshot being that nobody wants to work there. If anything they should be paying at least 5K more to compensate them for having to travel to Dorchester each day. It’s the same with their solicitors, in 2009 they were offering 21K for newly qualified solicitors…predictably enough nobody was really going for that when they could earn more as paralegals.

Sounds like a UDF hit to me.

Nah, if it had been the UDF they’d have shot themselves in the feet whilst attempting to clear a stoppage in their poorly maintained WW2 era weapons before butchering each other in a petty squabble over drugs money.

It’s more likely to be EDF.

I was just reading Le Figaro and various commentators have been drawing comparisons to the Dominci Affair of 1952…the similarities being the rural French location, Brit victims and murders in a car.
Hopefully this will actually be solved unlike that crime.

I’d have put BAE in charge of German armaments with the first Tiger 11 ready to enter service by 1961, numbers reduced to 10 due to cost overrun and fitted ‘for but not with’ a gun.

Not sure about specifically early 90’s Vans, I remember Lampin being a great Vans style from that period. Vans went through a really weak stage in the mid/late 90’s.

I suspect you mean the Classics range (Old Skool, Era, Authentic etc etc)…any of those are a good bet and have been worn all over the place since the early 70’s.

Purely on the strength criteria, I remember Duffs Strombolies being super tough (back when Duffs were a serious skate shoe company). Axion were great too, I remember the Kareem Campbell model being incredibly tough. My favourite ever pair were the es SLB -Sal Barbier mid-top pro model with the elasticated inner sock.

I hear good things about Lakai, but I often find that there’s a trade-off between strength and boardfeel these days…I don’t know how people can skate in a lot of the Supra shoes.
