I’ve used it for biking and you can get good shots, it’s just a bit hit and miss sometimes
I find it struggles in wooded areas where there is lots to confuse the autofocus and the light isn’t the best – those kind of shots where you’re trying to pan with someone on a bike
the water in the background of kayaking photos might create similar issues

it’s not an expensive camera though and it is tough

we’ve got mice in the floorboards – you can hear them nibbling every now and then. tonight we heard them squeaking.
one night last week I heard them falling down the wall cavity.

I guess there’s not a lot I can do if they’re not IN the flat, just under, over and around it?

I’ve had one a while, I really like it – like others have said it’s good for chucking in your backpack
the shutter lag is a bit of a pain sometimes, especially when you don’t have time to set up a shot and need to take one with little notice

mate of mine has the Specialized ones and really rates them – grippy, nice low profile, lots of pins
they don’t look the greatest – like they were made in a school vaccuum-former

I think good tuna is best seared in a very hot pan with basic seasoning and a bit of spice (nutmeg, chilli, paprika, etc.) left to settle and served warm with a salad and a bit of balsamic vinegar – maybe a couple of boiled potoatoes if you’re hungry

I used to protest about London being shite having visited a few times, now I’ve lived here for almost six years (in two stints) and think it’s an amazing place to live for all the reasons above and more
it IS different to anywhere else and I don’t think you can appreciate it until you’ve tried it
it’s a challenge to live here and sometimes the place really pisses me off, but you can gain an awful lot from living and being here
my biggest worry now is that when I do move away (when I want to have kids) other places won’t be able to captivate me like London does

the silly ****t’s spent too long with his head up his own arse and doesn’t realise there’s life beyond gambling with other people’s money – he can funk off to China and stay there until he dies a long and painful death under the weight of his own monumental faithless traitorous mercenary shite-filled head

your company don’t have to offer you an allowance instead of a company car – depends on their policy, in the UK though it’s a prevalent benefit

your allowance is likely to be about 10% of your base salary (or a minimum of 4-5k, whichever is more), or around 1/3 of the full price of the car you are eligible for

I went through this deliberation and decided not to bother with 1080p for these reasons:

    – I don’t currently have any HD sources and am not likely to in the near future because they’re not mainstream and are expensive, by the time they’re the norm I’ll be in the market for a new TV
    – I was in the market for a 32″ and was advised that at the distance I was watching the TV from (10’+), the difference between HD ready and full-HD wouldn’t be apparent unless you were significantly closer

In the end I went for a 26″ which you can’t get 1080p on anyway.

if Mosquito is your lbs, surely TwoWheelsGood must be one of the next 3 closest?

not heard of it until now, although I think I’ve popped into the one in Crouch End
don’t venture to Stoke Newington very much, but I’ll check it out
