LoCo, total tart question here, but, can you get hold of white lowers as my perfect plan would be 140 solos with white lowers? Expensive I know but I want it to look right and 150mm is too much for the bike its going on (covert 29).

Had a Hans Dampf on the front while riding on Arran at the weekend, piss wet and slippy and never once had a moment with it, silly levels of grip. It was a 2.35 which comes up **** huge! Nic on the back and I have a combo I’ll be riding all winter.

Even though I’m nearly 6 foot I got a medium, with the saddle down on descents its like a huge mental BMX 🙂

Why not go the other way and instead of triple, single ring it up front. Works great and is easier than you might think to get used to. I know its not really the answer you were looking for but……

. That stiff rear end means that even standing up you are having to work a lot harder to absorb bumps through your knees and the reluctance of the wheels to leave the ground makes it harder to chuck about.

All of the above other than the reluctance to leave the ground, my Solaris is more than happy to oblige and feels a lot more predictable than a full suss when its in the air. 🙂

1×10 32 11-36 for ages and it’s not enough for trail centres, climbs aren’t pleasant

HTC one for the last couple of months. Great build, great sound, v quick GPS acquisition, sense 5 surprisingly good and decent battery life after the latest update. Screen is stunning with very good viewing angles and the 60 fps video is mega, camera also excellent.

I think he may be frustrated by your “My dog is under control when I ride” delusion. Its not on a lead and having been a dog owner myself you and I both know that no matter how well trained the dog is, sometimes it will do whatever the hell it likes.

I’m always interested to see what Danny’s up to and I hope his new stuff blows everyone away like his first vid did, but I just don’t get excited anymore when I see a link to his riding. Akrigg however………..

It’s not about me having priority over you, it’s about having a dog that’s not under your control running around on trails built for biking (and do you think you are picking up all of it’s turds?) – it’s just irresponsible.

This, I think dogs are ace and miss my black lab mucho but just cos you love your dog and trust it doesn’t mean everyone else does.

Been running a tapered bolt through rev for a couple of months now, no problems and good fun but kinda fancy dropping it to 100mm as it doesn’t steer as well as the 100mm reba that preceded it.
