Been taking earplugs to gigs for years and wear them most of the time. They’re your ears so bullocks to anyone else.

OK, the difference in brake feel you mention is interesting. As long as I’m not acutally losing any braking force, I guess I could get used to less modulation.

EDIT: Thanks again, by the way!

Thanks cp. It’s for a 6603 triple chainset so I might have to rethink my plans.

Spare a thought for me. One woman where I work has a Cliff Richard calendar on the wall.

Ah, Addlestones. Whilst not particularly strong at around 5%, there is definitely a secret falling-over ingredient in there somewhere.

According to the Stan’s video, the manual swishing about of the freshly added sealant is much more effective way of covering the inside of the tyre. They say that the normal rotation of the wheel will not be as good at spreading the bloop around.

Having said that, I haven’t exactly followed the vid. I find that some tyres seal immediately, some after a ride or two and others take longer.

Lupine Wilma on the bars (on it’s fourth winter)
Lupine Piko on the lid (on it’s third winter)

Expensive? Yes, although I didn’t pay full price for either.
Both lights have been faultless, as you would expect for that sort of outlay!

If I’ve not worked with them and/or they’re an eejit, my money stays put. I left my last job after 10 years and specifically stated “no leaving card etc, thanks”. I can’t be doing with all that. A few beers with those that count (that’s not the finance department) and I’ll be on my way. You end up keeping in touch with people that matter to you. All the rest is just noise.

Don’t get me wrong, I actually love cycling. I just choose to do it in the safety and comfort of a spinning class at the gym.

    OK…

+1 on the safe-t-seat, although when commuting with my daughter on dark winter mornings, I did have to dress her up like a fat ninja to avoid the cold.

Wales lacked commitment at the breakdown. Didn’t compete we’ll enough and ended up playing off the back foot. Argentina took the game to them and they had no answer. So disappointing. Had I paid to watch that, I’d want my money back.

Dead Man’s Shoes. I remember the first time I saw it, having never previously heard of it. Such a powerful piece of work. Top, top film. Paddy Considine’s performance is spine tingling.

For around that money I recently built up some DT 240s hubs with Revolution spokes and tubeless compatible, non-exploding (so far…) Chinese carbon rims. They weighed in at 1530g minus yellow tape and valves. They’ve been great so far but I’ve not been overly shredding the gnar…

Just use sealant! I’ve had no flats since going tubeless 5 years ago. A few punctures, yes, but nothing that didn’t seal.

(I’ll probably get a rash of punctures now)
