I’ll admit that JW wasn’t an unbelievable 10 in the Carter, Latham type mold

Latham was a fine fullback, but a 10 he was not. Larkham was a 10.

Yes, they have a 104mm BCD. I use a 32t Absolute Black NW ring with mine.

Houses are not staying on the market for long at the moment. 2 lots of friends recently sold their places within days. Both received multiple offers over the asking price, too.

No housework done due to lurgy.

I have however watched Oblivion, Elysium & The Last Great Climb whilst eating unhealthy food, marooned on the sofa.

At least with general religious education you can teach tolerance, which should be the aim of it, rather than moralising.

OP, I assume you won’t be taking Good Friday and Easter Monday off from work as these are religious holidays.

They’re also known as Bank Holidays. Does that mean you can only take the day off if

    a) You work in a bank?
    b) You are a Christian?
    c) You are a Christian Banker?

Well at least your bike did get recovered, sort of. Plod took 6 (yes SIX) weeks to knock on the door of someone selling my stolen stuff. Obviously it was long gone by then. Pfft.

    Painted the downstairs loo.
Went to the park for a “99”.
Acted as a steward at the monthly “PlaySafe” around the corner (road cordoned off, kids run wild, adults eat cake).
    Cooked juicy lamb leg steaks.
First cut of the “lawn” (moss/clover/chives/daisies etc).
Sat down, opened a bottle of cider 8)

Have had a set for 8 years. Still running on original bearings. I have the CK hub tool and have done one complete strip down and rebuild in that time. I put in a new set of o-rings etc at the time, but they weren’t really needed. I suppose I clean the bearings about once every 18 months or so. The rear hub did take time to bed in from new, and required adjusting for the first couple of months (not every ride though). There’s no getting away from the fact that they cost a fortune, but looked after they will last for years.

I suppose I ought to service mine now 😳

Full thickness tear of my L5/S1 disc at the age of 27 stopped me playing rugby, a significant part of my life until that point. It was 6 months of intermittent bouts of sharp pain, sciatica, muscle cramps and sleeplessness before things started to settle. That was 14 years ago. As a consequence, my daily routine to this day starts with stretching and core exercises. Biking for general fitness, and as an antidote to a desk-bound job.

I’ve posted wheels via Parcelfarce at the Post Office…the box was indeed too large to fit through the hatch. Fortunately, they were clever enough to use a door handle, thus creating a large enough gap to pass the parcel.

Yes, I had a set when they first came out which, despite being fitted as per the instructions, had to be sawn off the axle to get them off. 😯

Went back to HTII after that.
