I’ve got a bike, you can ride it if you like.
It’s got a basket, a bell that rings
And things to make it look good.
I’d give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it.
Appletise. 3 weeks on the wagon so far. Building nicely for the final day of the 6 nations which I shall be spending in the pub with a couple of good friends…all 3 games…oh dear.
We stopped off in Jasper for a few days when travelling on the train from Toronto to Vancouver and hired a couple of hard tails to explore the nearby trails. Watch out for bears and angry moose.
Yes. It seems I am lucky compared to many. The whole thing encouraged me to take stock and make some changes to my lifestyle. I certainly enjoy treats more these days and I’m a lot more aware of what I’m eating/drinking.
cg – yeah, pretty much. It took 18 months to find a dose of Levothyrooxine where my TSH levels are stable and not pinging around all over the place. Cycling-wise, my fitness and stamina are back where they were before I started feeling crap. Losing 10kg last year certainly helped my well being.
Edit: making sure I take my meds well before breakfast makes a difference too, I believe
Looks to me like the tackler released Ashton, found his balance by placing his hands on the ground, then legally challenged for the ball. Ashton holds on. Penalty to blue? Question is, had the ref called ruck?
I feel the same way about the Bonty Racelite Hardcase tyres on my road bike. I’ve just fitted the fourth set of them in 6 years. 1 solitary puncture in that period.
I recently got some Control Tech Carbon Comp bars from Germany at a reduced price. They look a bit bonkers but they definitely mute some of the vibration from the road compared to the alloy bars they replaced. They also have cunning internal routing for that tidy cockpit look. 😀
34t chainring, 11-36 cassette, Shadow+ mech with a top chain guide here. Means I can ride almost everything, no dropped chain and absolutely no chain suck. Which is nice.
My step-sister used to eat steamed/boiled tripe by the plate load. She also used to sleep with her eyes open, standing up behind the living room door. She’s also ginger.
