They are excellent rims. Been riding mine for a few months. Laced them to DT240 hubs with black DT Revolution Spokes – stealthtastic. Running them tubeless at around 30 psi, the ride on my hardtail was transformed after moving from Flows.

Yeah, Andy Robinson as director, Sean Holley as coach and a few decent player signings. I saw a few games at the Mem this season and Bristol lacked concentration all too often. I believe they have a squad capable of gaining promotion next season but they will need to get their mental approach right for 80+ minutes each week.

I also had it worse than my daughter. She seemed oblivious to the spots and just had a few rough nights.

Yup. My daughter brought it home from nursery. I ended up with really sore hands/fingers for a few days but it went away fairly quickly.

In approximately 57 minutes, I shall stride next door to the pub and issue the command: “Cider I up landlorrrrrd!!” 😀

One faster than 10 speed innit

We only had bumph from the Greens & Independents in Bristol. Seems like the big three couldn’t be bothered.

32t on me full suss, 32t on me hardtail. Both with 11-36 cassette. Both get a bit spinny on long flats or downs, but they provide ample mincing gears for the steeply upward stuff.

The first and last time I rode there, it was a root’n’rockfest and was thoroughly unpleasant.

Well, since the trail building in Leigh Woods and Ashton Court, I think it’s important to retain the more natural trails like those in Fiddy Aker.

Alas, my view of the response from Avon and Somerset Police is not so positive. My bike was stolen in Nov 2011. Just over 2 months ago I spotted parts of it for sale on two auction sites. I did a bit of amateur Internet sleuthing and established the sellers actual location, name and address. I phoned AandS to report my find. I was telephoned the next day to be told that ” the member of staff who deals with Internet stuff isn’t in until next Tuesday” which was 5 days later. I expressed my dissatisfaction with this and it was suggested that I “phone the police force local to the seller to see what they can do”.

Anyhow, what followed for the next few WEEKS was me telephoning both forces repeatedly to get the case details transferred from AandS to the local force. Obviously, any hope of recovering my property was long gone. It took another two weeks for the local police to turn up at the sellers house.

Basically, I wasted my time. I should have accepted a good friend’s offer to get my stuff back for me (he lives in the same county as the seller). However, I wanted to stay on the right side of the law.

More fool me.
