I went to my brother-in-law’s stag do…a bicycle-borne Cotswold pub crawl. Sensibly, the other halves turned up en-masse at the end of the night with plenty of bike rackage affixed to their cars.

I use TLR Spesh/Schwalbe with Stans jism on a mixture of Flows/Light-Bicycle/DTSwiss rims. All have inflated with a track pump, sometimes after using a tube to initially seat the bead. I did send a Racing Ralph back to the retailer, though that was due to it being warped. Most TLR tyres take a ride or two to properly distribute the sealant too.

What sort of bars? I recently posted a couple of riser bars, 2nd class with a signature required on delivery. Both times I was charged the rate for a small parcel – £3.70

Most of the Ashton Court stuff doesn’t allow for safe overtaking: it’s too narrow. Back in the muddy years, before the trail redevelopments, there was more room. I’m surprised people still race on it, to be honest. Think I’ll stick to Leigh Woods and 50-Acre today. Hope you heal soon, OP.
